„This was a great cabin, beautiful views and overall fun experience with the kids. The loft area is a little small for four of us so we ended up sleeping two in the loft and two on the main floor. Prepare yourselves for the mosquitoes! I wish we had more time to kayak, but we did have s'mores at the fire pit and cooked our own lobsters. “

„This location worked out perfectly for us as it was a short drive to Bar Harbor, Southwest Harbor and many of the Acadia entrances. The cabin was super clean and had everything we needed for a wonderful July 4th wknd stay. There’s a wonderful place across the street for breakfast, coffee, ice cream etc. thanks for a great stay!“

„We loved everything about this rental. It is private, immaculately clean, and horses! It was so quiet and relaxing to watch the sunrise with coffee out on the deck and horses grazing in the paddocks. This home is perfectly situated to be close to Bar Harbor, Acadia Park, Schoodic Point (even better) and yet distant from crowds and heavy traffic. Driving past the Wyman Blueberry fields was amazing! The host was so helpful and we were so grateful for the Schoodic Point recommendation!“

The thoughtful touches such as the games, travel coffee mugs and well stocked fire pit and activity closet make this rental stand out against all the others. The whole property was spotless and beautiful. Conveniently located to the park and some excellent lobster rolls. I cannot say enough good things. We very much enjoyed our stay, only wishing it was longer.“

„The Highland Cottage was perfect!! We spent a lot of our mornings and evenings on the deck relaxing in the peaceful surroundings. Coopers Hawks, deer, enormous squirrels and chipmunks came to visit each day. Having a cozy, well appointed, delightfully decorated home base was just what we needed after our daily adventures in Acadia National Park. On our last morning we decided we would come back again!!! Fantastic!!“

„This place was great and private. Lots of windows but neighbors aren’t too close. It was very clean and cozy. About 45 minutes from Acadia and Bat Harbor made it near enough but not too in the city. Loved the place! “
