« Nice ambiance inside and out. Great AC and ceiling fan (we want one just like it now). It was a nice retreat after 6 days of college tours. Cabin is in the middle of lots of hiking and river fun.
Nothing bad about the cabin, just be aware there’s only a couple places to eat within miles and their hours / days vary. Oark Country Store and Byrd’s are nearby and both are excellent. »

« Great place to stay! Had almost everything you could need. I think the only thing missing was there were no coffee mugs. Had a nice hot tub and walking trail. Would highly recommend this property! »

« This property is older but had a lot of things that I look for in a place to stay. It had a lot of towels, pots, pans, condiments, and utensils available. We were able to log in to the one tv with our streaming apps which is a bonus. The owner was easy to communicate with regarding our stay, which is nice. It was close to beautiful hikes and the Buffalo River.
The reason for the 3 stars is due to it being very outdated along with having many insects. The rugs and many decorative pillows...

« There was a dirty dish in the oven. There was half eaten s’mores in the microwave. Said nothing about the road to the cabin not being car friendly. ONLY TAKE A TRUCK IF YOU WANT YOUR CAR IN ONE PIECE! »

« It was as advertised, very secluded and peaceful. I would just make sure you get the directions and check-in procedures saved before you get there as you likely will not have cell service. The host can't help that though and was very helpful once we able to connect. Great overall. »
