Stairs too steep for seniors or children. Inside clean, but patio dirty/faded, laundry dirty. 2 of 4 TV's not functional (controls didn't work). Missing kitchen chair. Living room chair and couch had sprung springs - uncomfortable. Good for pets and comfortable beds.

Wonderful stay in Philly!

We had such a fantastic stay! Gabe and Jon have a beautiful property and are incredibly wonderful people to work with. They are very friendly and responsive and their property has everything as described! We would absolutely stay here again!!

Excellent spot

We had a great stay. Only issue was that there was an extra cost and step in identity verification. These kinds of things need to be listed up front instead of a surprise bill with threat of cancellation by the owner.

Convenient location

Stayed for a work trip and the house was more than adequate for myself and two companions. Walking distance to stores and places to eat. Quick Uber ride to convention center and sight seeing.

Great trip

It was in a great area…the only issues was the noise level from the construction outside and needs black out curtains in case you are wanting to sleep last 7:30am. Parking was a nightmare as well. Overall, a very good place for a short trip. I would def stay again if I’m Philly.

Great stay

The places was perfect for our family of 5. Location was very good with great places for food and coffee within walking distance. There was a lot of construction going on in the area but I just assume that mean greater amenities in the future. The hosts were very communicative and helpful. They thought of everything!

We stayed only two nights here while exploring Philly on a long weekend, but could not have asked for more comfortable and well-appointed accommodations. We received clear communication from our hosts prior to check in and throughout our stay. Check in was simple and the house was spotless when we arrived. They thought of everything... games, Roku TVs, simple toiletries, hairdryer, kitchen amenities... everything you might need. Beds were extremely comfortable, showers were nice and warm, and the space was perfect for our girls' weekend. The guidebook provided was thorough and helpful, and the house was within walking distance to many excellent restaurants and bars in Fishtown and Northern Liberties. I highly recommend this property for groups of 4-6.; the only downside was construction happening right outside the front windows, but that should be completed soon and shouldn't discourage you from staying at this ideal spot.

Location location location

The was a great home for our long weekend in Northern Liberties/Fishtown. Our daughter lives only a 10 minute walk away and it was amazing to be so close. We walked to breakfast and lunch and were a 10 minute drive to shopping and bars. The place is clean and great for three - and with two double beds in one bedroom it would be easy to have 4 people or 4 couples. Reviews have mentioned the steep stairs and that is true - they are steep! But our Philly friends tell us that’s a true older Philly home. After a few trips up and down it wasn’t an issue. Nice kitchen and living space. The beds were very comfortable. Each room had a nice fan to stay cool and provide some white noise. The neighborhood was not an issue at all - felt safe and as I said we walked everywhere every day. If you want to be in NL/Fishtown, this is a great place and we would definitely rent again.

A couple of fun days in Fishtown

We had a great time staying at Gabe and Jon’s lovely house in Fishtown. Everything was exactly as described: clean, comfortable, homey and convenient. This location is perhaps on the edge of Fishtown, but still within a 15 minute walk of everything the neighborhood has to offer. Would love to stay here again!

Great Location in Fishtown

The rental was in a great Fishtown location, easy to walk to the many restaurants on or near Girard. Super clean and modern decor, had all the amenities we needed. Great communication with the owners. So glad we stayed there. Would recommend to anyone traveling to Philly.

Awesome Family Philly Weekend!

I absolutely could not have been happier with the Philly getaway property that we just rented! First, the Townhouse was spotless, fully equipped, beds were terrific and comfortable, plenty of pillows and towels. This was an incredible bargain for the money considering the location and the amenities. Everything the owners told me was exactly as described. We loved sitting on the back patio with the holiday lights! Thank you Gabe and John for an amazing weekend for my family! We will rent from you again! Just to show that I am a real person- I will give a bit of a warning. Parking is tight! We found a spot and it took me 10 minutes to Parrell park. We had to drive around a bit to find a spot but that’s all over Philly. Luckily we were always a short walk away. They also recommended Joes for cheese steaks. You must go! Awesome sandwiches!

Cicely furnished but dangerous stairway in a bad neighborhood with no parking nearby.

We were charged twice for the rental and we had to report it to correct the charges. The place is very clean and the beds were excellent. The stairs are too steep for seniors or children. I had to escort my wife and daughter up and down the stairs. The picture of the stairs on the site is widened and does not accurately portray the steep condition. The neighborhood is terrible and there is no parking anywhere near the place. Parking at $25 a pop is available three blocks away. Couldn’t even park in front to load luggage. Small street completely blocked by people who park in the middle of a very small street all day. Lastly, the excellent managers could not timely deal with refund issues because the owners live overseas.

Great apartment in Philadelphia

Pictures don’t do this properly justice as the apartment is even better than the pictures. Great place to relax and reinvigorate after a day of touring. It was a rainy weekend so we couldn’t enjoy the patio. Very well equipped and we wanted for nothing. Parking can be difficult so we parked our car and used rideshare for our outings which worked fine. If we come back we will happily stay here again. The hosts were easy to correspond with and they were proactive sending information about the property with an excellent welcome link. They were quick to respond to emails.

Centrally Located & Comfy

Great spot easily accessible to everywhere we wanted to go. Right next to the train station and Fishtown where we spent a lot of our time. The unit had a nice kitchen and living room area with cooking utensils and non stick pans. Owners were very communicative, friendly and accommodating. Portable fans and heaters if you need them. Very comfortable tempurpedic mattresses. There is grocery right around the corner and a great yoga and barre studio within 2 minutes of the apt. Lots of stairs as is the norm for Philly. We will definitely book again.

Friends reunion!

We stayed at this property for a friends reconnecting weekend. The six of us have been friends for 20 plus years but live in different cities and the pandemic has made it hard to see each other. Philly was central location and the home was warm, cozy and stylish. Jon our host was so attentive and gave us so much detailed information, it allowed us to have an relaxing enjoyable trip! We enjoyed our time in the house talking and cooking and loved being able to walk to restaurants. I would defiantly stay here again!

Great Time, Great Place!

First Off, I’d like to flat out mention that Jon & Gabe are great hosts. They both were both super nice, super understanding, and were just overly pleasant to work with. The property itself was gorgeous. Had a clean modern look and felt comfortable. The beds were memory foam which I personally enjoyed and loved as did my fellow guests. The house itself is about two minutes from a delicious take out spot called Love and Honey fried Chicken. (Probably the best chicken I’ve ever had) All in all, I enjoyed the hosts as well as the house. Will definitely come back!

Outstanding Experience

Beautiful property-- Clean, nicely appointed, and caring, responsive owners. On the pricey side, but you won't regret spending just a wee more for this truly lovely place. Our family will definitely stay here again on our next visit to The City of Brotherly Love.
