Did not receive any communication from the host regarding check-in, door code, etc. On the day of check-in, I sent a message to inquire what was needed. I then received a message from the host, less then 4 hours prior to check-in, informing us that there were plumbing issues and that we had to cancel our stay. We did receive a full refund, which is the bare minimum I would have expected. Host was apologetic and I suppose checking in to a home with septic issues would have been worse, but having a stay cancelled with less than 4 hours notice when we had family memebers en route from multiple states was horrible. It seems that more notice should have been provided. Clearly they knew there was an issue since no check-in information was provided the day prior. Trying to find alternate accomodations at the last minute in an area where availability was sparse was both stressful and ended up costing us much more than we'd planned on. Made logistics for a family gathering for a funeral very difficult.
