The room accommodations and layout of the main house and guest house were perfect for our family. We wish there would have been an additional bathroom in the guest house but not much time was spent there anyway. As usually happens, everyone ends up in the kitchen and it was the perfect size for all to gather especially with the openness to the living room.

Family reunion

We had a family reunion, and this was the best most accommodating house we could’ve stayed at. Beautiful surroundings, great views, enough room, comfortable bed and enough room for everyone to sleep, pool and slide are immaculate! You could be inside or outside and the ambience was the same !

I have stayed in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area multiple times. The area is great and the location of this property was perfect for us. The house wasn’t what we expected. Below is a list of things I sent to the property manager1-When we arrived the AC was not prepped and the upstairs did not get to a temperature below 78 degrees until well into the night.2-There are tiles missing in the pool slide that cut my children. I looked back and noticed this was something that others have complained about in their reviews that have not been addressed. 3-There was only one towel per guest for a nine night stay which seems less than adequate. 4-There are no cleaning supplies for us to even clean the countertops in the kitchen other than a small pack of "kitchen wipes"5-The wifi in the home has been spotty and not worked the whole time that we were here. We have had outages while trying to work from laptops and had to use our own hotspots. 6-The water down stairs gets luke warm at best while the upstairs water is so hot it is hard to shower. There is no cold water upstairs. 7-The built in grill that we were expecting to use Is broken. There is a small grill beside it for use which seems to be missing parts as well and seems pretty cheap for what you expect from a rental of this caliber. 8-My teenage daughter found a box of condoms in the couch cushion. Not only did she find those but also found 2 more boxes in her bathroom closet. Do not recommend!

Good night stay are horrible scammers

Pool light/jets, pool slide not functioning. Spa lights not operable. We used the pool 2x out of the 7 days because of this.Temps were in the triple digits. Couldn’t use the pool in the evening when temps were more comfortable because the lights weren’t functioning.Spa we could not use in the evening because there was no lights around (pitch black in the middle of the desert). All these issues were known prior to renting the property to me and my family but did not say a word until I asked how all these things worked the day of my arrival. It took 5 days for management to return my call. In between I kept getting AI generated responses from the staff saying they are working on a solution when in reality there was no solution being worked on. I asked to be relocated and that I was not looking for a refund. Not possible. My family fought with bugs inside the property the entire stay. The property was not cleaned properly there were women’s panties left from previous guess. Trash left around the outside near the spa from a previous party. The home was very dusty and dirty. I had to wipe the surfaces off myself. The pad on the patio furniture filthy. The pathway leading from the main house to the guess house was very dangerous, steps were uneven and shrubbery over grown making it hard to use the handrail. Garage had no remote so you have to run through the house to open the garage. This trip was exhausting. Goodnight stay was very unprofessional. They just take your money!!!!

BEWARE!!!! There are hidden fees that come with the property that are not originally disclosed in the fee that VRBO/Expedia provides on their website. Although the fees are listed in the description, it's not easily identified. Before booking this property, do you homework and look into these fees!!!!!! **The House** Overall the house was nice, but for the price, I would have expected better amenities. I will say, the house was clean and the appliances worked. However, the sheets were cheap microfiber, they barely supplied enough towels and we had to ask for extras. The guest house had a horrible smell - we asked for maintenance to take a look and they replaced the air filter but the smell still lingered. After reading the previous reviews, seems like this is a persistent issue (and very hard to be in the room with that smell). **Pool & Hot Tub** We opted out of paying for the pool to be heated and for 100 degrees, the water wasn't too bad. The water slide is broken (as of April 2025) - this information wasn't disclosed prior or during the booking process. We had to ask how to turn it on and that's when we learned about it. We did however pay for the hot tub to be heated, HOWEVER, the jets are broken (this was not disclosed to us prior to the charge and they refused to reimburse us, even though no one ended up using the hot tub). Nice neighborhood with quiet neighbors. Easily access to the airport but definitely need a car.

Great Location.

Ample space in the main house and casita for a larger group. The pool with view of Camelback is spectacular and nicely isolated from neighbors. Outstanding location and easy to get to whatever you may need. No complaints from any on the comfort of the beds and enough bath rooms for all. Here is what can improve. The kitchen needs more supplies for cleaning. We had a 2 oz. Bottle of dish soap, 2 dishwasher pods, one sponge and a roll of paper towels. This was for a group of 12 for 6 nights. Seating and lighting in main room was lacking. No description of the steep stair climb, and hill up to the casita with over grown vegetation along the way. We were told after our complaint of a bad smell in the Casita that if the plumbing is not used in awhile it will smell. After a day and a half of use the smell did disappear as we were advised. Lastly the hot tub was a warm tub and the door from the primary bath to the warm tub did not completely close or lock. Outdoor furniture is very worn. With the negatives out of the way it was a good location that we would consider renting again. The management team was easy to work with and were quick in responding. Add more cleaning supplies, improve the trek to the casista and upgrade the patio furniture and this place would be spectacular.

Family Time

Perfect place to stay with our family of 17 for our parents' 50th Anniversary! Having so many bedrooms and bathrooms worked out great! We used the Casita, but be warned, this is a small trek through the "wilderness" down some steps and pavers which we didn't realize from pictures. This house sits on a huge property and has beautiful views of the sunrise and sunset! The kids loved the pool and hot tub. There are a few bathrooms without curtains, so we had to get creative with throw blankets. There are no curtains in either of the Master Baths in Main house or the Casita bathroom. I would mention for future renters that the pool lights do not work, but there are yard lights on the house that can shine on the pool for some light at night. FYI this light switch is behind the curtain beside the bed in the large main floor King room! It took us awhile to find all the correct light switches. The kitchen does not have dish towels, only paper towels. There is no internet/TV in the Casita. We did plug in an HDMI cable and got that to work. A few minor things need some attention, but all in all, this home worked out beautifully for a large family!

Family get away close to home

This was a perfect get away for our grown family. The swimming pool with slide was a hit with the kids, the gas fire pit was perfect for roasting marshmallows and the pool table was in constant use.
