The property/room itself needs a little work…the sink faucet needs replacing, as does the shower head (replacing the aerators will probably do the trick). However, this property is among the cleanest and best kept of all motel 6 properties in the Tempe/Scottsdale/Phoenix area. The staff is hardworking, practical, accommodating and easy to deal with overall. Again, much more pleasant than other properties’ staff members that I’ve dealt with in the past.
The area is great, several yummy restaurants within walking distance, not far from Tempe Museum, Kiwanis Park, the library, Arizona Mills shopping mall and IMAX theater, and of course, ASU and ASU stadium is very close by. Whether it’s a quick business trip, vacation with friends or family, or an extended stay situation, I recommend this place for a safe, convenient and comfortable option that’s half the cost of many other places in the area. It’s not fancy or extravagant, for sure. But if you don’t mind no-frills, it’s a clean, comfy stay, quality staff, and an overall super value for your money.
