Hotel Piketon

« Rooms were clean, hotel was overall quiet. I gave this 3 stars because I want to be frank in that if you are staying in this hotel /area in general, there are very active train tracks right outside. As a hotel during travel or outdoor activities of the area, it is probably a very convenient location for the area (there isn’t “much” around). « Not a nice place, people sitting in parking lot drinking, building looked terrible, did not have my reservation. Left without staying. »

« Room very nice and clean with nice colors. Good Breakfast with meat and eggs. The breakfast room is a little sad I find. Maybe too big, not enough light, too hospital style. Out of 6 Red roof I went to, it is probably the nicest. »

« I feel like breakfast ends too early (at 9). But the sweet lady let us rummage the counter anyway when we came down at 9:09. The pool was a nice temperature, cool to warm. Not cold. Good location to access other points of interest in Jackson. Beds are comfortable but high off the ground. My kids had a hard time getting on and off. »

« The room was not very clean. The pool was closed, we wanted to swim. We found a cigarette lighter under the sink which tells me the floor wasnt vacuumed. Something had been spilled on the vent of the heater/ac that looked like blood but i dont think it was but who knows. The beds were closer to being twins than full. Get to room the toilet had pee in it, a key was on the floor under door from someone else soap on the floor from someone else and trash in room from others.
