« The log home was a wonderful place to gather for Christmas with our family who came from MN, ND and AZ. Sue is an amazing host - so responsive and easy to work with. The kitchen was fully stocked and living rooms were set up great for our 3 granddaughters to play Barbies and show off dance moves. We had one campfire and the scenery was so beautiful. We will book again!! »

« Cute place! It was nice to have a fully stocked kitchen to use to do some make and freeze meals for my dad who was in the hospital having surgery. It was a plus to be able to bring our dogs along. The bed was very comfortable. »

« Great location. Cute home. Please ask home owner to remove that there is a fire place in this house, there is not. Also should disclose the narrow stair case to the 2 out of 3 bedrooms in case someone with a handicap wants to rent. Please also put a disclaimer in your book or somewhere that the furnace may smell like gas upon initial heat up as I was scared for my family all night after the CO2 detector went off (we determined the batteries were bad in the detector). « Stayed here over the winter while helping some family do some moving. Perfect Property for what we needed plus more. Every morning waking up to the beautiful sunrise over the frozen lake. Comfy warm living room with fireplace and plenty of seating. John was extremely helpful with our check in process. 5 stars and we hope to stay again. »

« Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The house worked very well for our family group of 15 & the location was very convenient to Crosslake. However we arrived after the first snowfall & the driveway & steps were not cleared. You have to climb the steps to access the house & they were slippery. We could not find a shovel & the access to the room above the garage was not obvious when nothing was cleared. Also, the garbage service had not picked up the garbage from the previous week.
