This picture was taken on the New River while I was out learning to fly fish with my father. The one thing that I really take away from this picture is how peaceful it is. I think that this represents the Appalachia region because for the most part this river has always been here. At one point it was someones way of catching food for their family, or a way for them to travel to different places down the river. But, today it was the river that let me enjoy time with my father without the distractions of technology or the busy world around us. This river will probably continue to be here long after we are gone, but one thing is for certain it will always be apart of Appalachia’s identity. #appalachianechos

„This is a very cozy and private place to stay. The amenities, the appliances, the furniture, the wood stove, the fire pit, and the wi-fi was all great and easily accessed and usable. It was nice, clean, and modern. The fold out sofa bed sleeps good. I got to watch deer grazing in the tree farm on the hill. The road in was doable with my extended cab, long bed, dually 2 wheel drive, even after the 10 hours of rain.“
