« The house location is very good since we wanted to hike at Pilot Mountain State park. It's quiet and we saw deer behind the house and there's a nice walk down a gravel road behind the house. Lovely property. Well kept house. The beds were good. The kitchen was great and there is a pretty Bay window to look out while having breakfast. Everything we needed. The only problem is the second bedroom is accessed through the main bedroom. »

« I have stayed in a lot of different homes and can't always give a 5 star rating but this homes deserves more than 5 stars. The house is beautiful, very clean, comfortable, and Betty would check to see if we needed anything. We sat out on the carport watching the rain and storm and it was BEAUTIFUL. I would absolutely recommend this home to my family and friends. I will be going back down to Mount Airy and will plan my trip to stay here again. »

« I have never written less than a perfect review before, but I had to write this one. We arrived to a dirty home — the owner confirmed prior guests were to blame, but this was clearly not caught before our arrival. Cleaners were still on-site our entire first afternoon, so we had no privacy from the moment we walked in.After cleaning, the house continued to reek of smoke for all four days. On top of that, the AC was completely broken (the house was miserably hot) and the dishwasher didn't work....
