„Loved staying here SO much! Everything was extremely well kept. It was so peaceful. Host was accommodating - letting us change our stay to a day later when our travel plans changed. Only thing worth noting is the 15min drive up the mountain on gravel through very rural area! Made us wonder if we were in the right place haha - but that rural setting is what makes it so lovely and peaceful. We definitely want to come back!“

„Owner was very communicative. There were a few issues when we arrived because of the former renter. Philip dealt with the issues immediately. The older home is well maintained in an established neighborhood. Extremely clean. Home is well located to explore the northern, central and southern entrances to New River Gorge National Park. We enjoyed having wine on the outside patio. Washer and dryer in the basement was a big plus. Enjoyable experience. William and Jan, Iowa“

„Wonderfully scenic property along a creek. The extensive outdoor spaces were great and we enjoyed the comfortable seating by the fire pit. Communication with the host was timely. I would book again. A few notes for future travelers - the upstairs bedrooms are not furnished as shown in the photos - more like dorm bed frames now - not sure if this is temporary? If you want to drink wine/have glassware bring your own (thanks to another review we did). If the wifi is out - let them know ASAP. We ...

„Our trip was such a great experience! Our host was very informative! The place comes with pretty much everything you need! Very clean and nostalgic to “ simpler times”. Very close to the river where we caught some fish. Bedding was clean and so was other furniture. Very relaxing and quiet spot to stay “ other than the railroad at some times LOL” but such a great place to stay and at the price. Very kid friendly as well! „Owners thought of every detail, even providing coffee, paper products (minus tissues), firewood and firestarter sticks. They came by and checked on us, were not intrusive at all. Very helpful, friendly and concerned that everything was ok, and suggested hiking trails nearby. Definitely recommend a stay here if you are looking for a relaxing time, beautiful sunsets and stunning mountain views.“
