We feel that communication is very important, which is why we outline the terms of our rental agreement with our guests. We're also sorry to hear that you had issues with the upstairs bathroom. We do request that any issues be reported to us asap so that we can do our best to remedy the problem. We're sorry that we weren't given the opportunity to help you. Thankfully, our subsequent guests did not report having the same problem. Lastly, we're sorry that you found our utensils to be old but we hope they still served their purpose. Thank you for the feedback! Our great location with convenient beach access is definitely what a lot of our guests appreciate the most about our condos. Our condos are designed to provide casual, family friendly accommodations for large groups. We acknowledge that our kitchen provides just the basic cooking and dining needs. We are sorry that you had to buy a whisk as that is one of the basic items we usually have stocked. Unfortunately as a rental, items do tend to break or "walk away" now and then which makes it hard to include those homey-touch items you would like to have in a personal vacation home. There should have been an option to watch live tv using Spectrum but I realize the new "smart" tvs can be confusing to navigate. We are planning to upgrade the sofa sleepers in the living room soon. We appreciate that you reported to us that the refrigerator did not seem to be working when you arrived. When we offered to call a repair person, your wife was very nice and said it was not a problem because you had plans to be out most of the time and didn’t have plans to do any cooking. She said the only thing you needed the refrigerator for was to keep your drinks cold. Accordingly, we had an ice chest filled with ice delivered to the condo. When you mentioned that you had already bought an ice chest and some ice, we offered to reimburse you for those items. We also said we recognized that you were inconvenienced and were waiting for your reply so we could discuss a fair and reasonable compensation. We never received a reply. We are very sorry that there was a break down in our communication. Bottom line is that we completely agree with you that a vacation home should have a refrigerator, which is why we promptly installed a new refrigerator. We are very sorry that we did not have the opportunity to resolve this issue to your satisfaction as that is always our goal.
