I was very disappointed from the moment we came in and was greeted. The girl at the front desk told us that the room we requested, which was a King bed room because my husband and I are two grown men. This was for Valentine's Day and we wanted to sleep comfortably in a long bed. She told me well we can each sleep in a queen bed now when I said we want a king bed she immediately went to saying we can cancel our reservation and go somewhere else. We didn't get there til 6 and Valentine's day, where would we get another room in that area. We just said we would stay there and deal with it otherwise we would have had to drive the hour and a half back home. We got in the room and I had to clean the bathroom because the tub/shower was dirty and the wash cloth I used was dirty brown after wiping it down. When I booked this room I wanted to try you out because our company switched this year from Hilton rewards to Marriott rewards. I actually just book a trip in 3 weeks to New Orleans and got a courtyard. Hope that experience is better in New Orleans. Also it was a pet friendly hotel and I am quite allergic to dog and cat dander. Which usually is cool. But the room had carpet and I could tell with my allergies there was a pet in there because my allergies were rough with sleeping. I would just say it had to be in the carpet. All around just a blah experience and I hope this isn't a trend for all of your Marriott properties. I would not recommend this hotel at all.
