We stayed here for the last 2 weeks of the Summer holiday 2019.
The property was clean, tidy and very comfortable, the kitchen is tiny but well equipped with quality appliances and plenty of decent pans and crockery making it easy to cater at home for our party of 8. The remainder of the house was very spacious.
It is rural property, not of sleek hotel standard, but this made it easy to relax in and feel at home with children and not worry. The location was beautiful and great for the 3 dogs we had with us.
The pool was fantastic, heated with a cover and was well used by my 10 year old niece!
Jacky was very prompt in his communication, the only difficulty for me being that my french is not very good but we managed. I was asked to contact someone one hour prior to arrival by telephone and this was the only downside in the check in process. We were running late due to traffic which was very difficult for me to explain in french and it was clear the lady I contacted was not happy but I was unable to understand why. This caused me some anxiety and worry at the time.
We were also a little disappointed that the gazebo pictured outside the conservatory had been removed as this would have given a little bit more shade to sit in on hot days.
We had to take our own bed linen and towels, not a problem but difficult to be sure we had the right sizes! For future reference for any other english families wanting to book, there are 2 english king sized beds, 2 english double size and 2 english single for sheet sizes. Other than the the 2 singles, all the duvets are king size.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this property for anyone looking for a family getaway with children and dogs. (We were 2 families of 4). It was one of the most relaxing holidays I've had in years. (And the weather was amazing!)
