« Terrible experience. This is my first public comment over 30 years of travel. Extremely noisy elevator bell located right in front of the room (which is not mentionned upon booking). Rambling noise starting a 4:30 am probably due to washing machines. I do not bother commenting on the rest. A hotel which does not guarantee proper resting should not exist. Avoid at all cost. »

« Check-in is fast. Room is reasonably large and comfortable. Fixtures are somewhat dated but acceptable. It is close to the waterfront, where you can see a beautiful sunset under the Mackinac Bridge and a night full of stars. Walking to the Mackinac Island ferry takes about 10 mins and the main area is pretty close as well. »

« I didn’t even realise this was a motel until the desk clears mentioned it at checkout. I typically choose hotels with free breakfast, but due to the popular and overpriced location, I went for this accommodation. I would absolutely stay here again, and have no problem recommending it. Bakery options around the corner conpensate for no breakfast. Clean, simple rooms. »
