« Our family had a great time. We did lots of hiking locally, visited a winery and a local orchard. We cooked our meals and the kitchen and grilled out with ease. Kids loved the loft beds to hang out and sleep. Daughter loved the butterflies outside too. It was close enough to travel to several trailheads with ease. You are a little ways from town which is a feature but make sure you are good on gas and groceries. We stopped at Kroger on our way in. »

« A quaint little Bunk House on a farm. Nice view near the horse pasture, horses, goats, dogs, and cats. Lovely small raised bed tomato garden next to the cabin. I would definitely stay again. »

« We wanted to get out of the city for the weekend and this was a great spot for it. Nice views and very remote yet close enough to Carbondale that we didn’t feel like it was a big distance to hang out in town and pick up some grocery items. Had a great time kayaking on the on-site pond. Also very close to many nature trails including a 5-minute drive to Panther Den trailhead. Overall, I would definitely come back. »

« What an amazing cabin. We loved the quiet location and the cabin was well stocked with everything you could need. Alison checked in with us throughout our stay to ensure we were settled in and to see if we had any questions. We loved waking up in the morning to see peacocks walking by. « This cabin was absolutely perfect for our family of four. The cabin was very clean with furnishing, decor, and amenities that were all well thought out. From the unique nature themed wall hangings to the abundance of hooks for coats and towels, everything about this place feels cozy and inviting. The location is perfect, being about 10 minutes from Carbondale and less than 10 minutes to Giant City State Park. « We absolutely loved our stay at the cabin! It was my husband and pup and we were immediately welcomed by a wildflower bouquet on the porch and a trail right off the entrance. The cabin was extremely comfortable and the design was intentional to let you unwind and focus on nature around you. We hope to come back soon! »
