Unit was in outstanding condition, super clean and new looking. We had many treats left for us to enjoy(homemade loaf of bread,free range eggs cereals,jams etc). We had a most quiet enjoyable stay for 5 nights. Highly recommend venue.

One of the most magical weekends of our lives. Gary and Maria have a beautiful property and the cottages are gorgeous! The homemade food complimentary in your cottage is so great appreciated and the views are simply stunning. Absolutely love this place!

We loved staying our 3 nights in “Boobook” it was perfect - clean, comfortable, everything you need. Little extras like fresh bread, hand made soap, fresh coffee, eggs 👍👍👍👍 It rained the whole time we were here but who cares, we loved the cottage so much it was a delight to stay inside and totally relax thanks Gary and Maria 10/10

It is beautiful place, quiet, away from neighbour chalet. Waking up early in the morning to see kangaroos roaming around just outside of your chalet, the view is simply beautiful from our chalet. The only down side is no wifi, and the only place we get our mobile reception (others than Telstra) is on right bed side table in the master bed room (however, if you are on Telstra, you won’t get any reception anywhere in the chalet). But the view and its tranquility is worth the sacrifice.

The Wifi is not good anywhere around here, it is something the mobile providers need to update as soon as poss, but most people come for the scenery and peacefulness. Many thanks

Quiet location, well equipped and clean cottage. Warmly greeted by owners on arrival. Well located for all of the attractions in the Porongorups. Would highly recommend staying here especially if you have a keen interest in tackling the many spectacular bush walks in the area.

We had a great stay here. The cabin was very child friendly (no sharp edges or knick knacks!) and the owner was very kind taking us to see the cows. We’ll definitely be back again.

A beautiful well appointed cottage on a working farm overlooked by Mount Manyat.
This is a very picturesque cottage in a lovely clear patch of farmland with stunning views of the Porongarup range. We were met by the owner who gave a warm welcome and orientation of the facilities which included the lovely surprise of farm eggs, home baked loaf and preserves. We found everything to be clean and comfortable and presented to a very high standard. The cottage is ideally situated for easy access to the surrounding National Parkland which has walk trails, view points and the opportunity to spot various bird species. We would definitely return for another visit.

The cottage is well located on a working farm with beautiful views of the ranges. We were so welcomed with amazing fresh home made bread, preserves, their farm eggs and lots more. The cottage was well equipped and spotless and we could not have asked for more. A very peaceful and lovely place to spend a few days. Excellent value too.

Porongurups in Summer
Very nicely laid out chalet. We had the one with a single bed in the second room. Plenty of room with 2 bedrooms, living area and nice kitchen, laundry and shower. The home made bread and farm fresh eggs on arrival were a very nice touch, as were the local scented soaps. Bed was soft. There is a DVD player (not BluRay) player in the side of the TV. Only criticism would be the TV is very small, but you really do go down there to get away from electronics and the view of the Porongurups is great from the front of the Chalet. It was very nice relaxing after a hike with a beer on the verandah in the afternoons.

It is a great location for the walking trails. The cabin had all we needed including the one day breakfast items. The only thing it didnt have is internet access.

The property is very comfortable and homely and is in a beautiful location. The complimentary home made bread and jam are also delicious. The view of the mountains from the front verandah and lounge room window is amazing, such a lovely place, highly recommended.

Cottage set within farm, full cooking facilities but also located next door to Thai cafe. Excellent additional touches such as farm fresh eggs, freshly baked bread, snack sized packets of biscuits and many more items for our enjoyment. Peaceful setting at night for sitting outdoors. Comfortable beds, perfect base for us as wanted to spend our days exploring National parks nearby. We hope to rebook next year

Don't stay anywhere else
The Manyat Peak Cottages are sensational! They beat a hotel and caravan park cabins. They are secluded on a beautiful big farm where you can walk around and say hello to the cows, Dusty the dog loves to say hi and Rob and Lorna were great letting our son gather eggs from the chickens. The cottage was very clean and roomy for 2 adults and 1 child and there's a great Thai restaurant right next door. We cannot fault this place or the people. Also check out Robs artwork in the gallery, it's superb, he's a very talented man.

great property in the heart of the Porongarups nothing far!Telephone connectivity was sparse, which is sometimes a bonus for some. The booking system doesn't allow to specify two beds perhaps this come be improved.

Cosy cottage nestled at base of the Porongorups
I could only stay two nights to squeeze in some hiking and exploring in the stirlings and Porongorups. Rob and Lorna are wonderful hosts. The cottage was cosy and clean, and the hosts had thoughtfully started The fire and provided home made bread and preserves. A nice balance of privacy and knowing any questions were welcome. Will come back and stay again.

Great Spot to relax. We spent a very relaxing 4 nights. The Cottage is very Cozzy, Clean and well appointed. The supplied breakfast ingredients were a great addition. Host was very friendly and helpful. Location is great as well, not to far out of Mount barker and nice and Close to all the sites and walk trails in the Porongorups. We will be back.

Perfect Getaway for Porongurup National Park
Manyat Cottages was a great find. A perfect location on a farm near the Porongurup National Park and wineries. Rob, our host, was friendly and helpful. The cottage was private, spacious, clean and very comfortable. The added extras, farm fresh eggs, homemade bread and jams, milk and cereals were a nice surprise. Such a lovely area to either walk around or take in the view of Manyat Peak.

Perfect winter getaway!
Wonderful cottage- very attractive decor and has everything one could need...plus loads of personal touches...home baked bread, fresh eggs from owners hens, home made preserves. Woodfire was wonderful for a winter weekend break. Location amazing - secluded, quiet and looks out to the Porongorups. Robins, fairy wrens, thornbills, silvereyes came to visit and could hear an own (barn owl?) at night. Just working out how soon we can get back!!

Delightful Manyat Peak Cottages
Our welcome from Rob at Manyat Peak cottages was lovely, he took the time to show us around the cottage and told us about the walks we wanted to do. The cottage was lovely, everything we could want and lovely extras including home made bread, jams, butter, fresh eggs, milk and orange juice for us to enjoy, also tea, coffee and biscuits, absolutely welcome after a long drive. The peace and quiet and privacy was delightful and the Porongurups are amazing. We are going back for a longer stay in Wildflower season and will definitely be staying at the cottage, we absolutely loved it!
