« It is Hydra, and there are some steps to be climbed to get to it either on foot or by donkey, but our kind host Theodora has a gem of a property at which to stay close to town. It is very neat and clean, with a little inner courtyard for eating dinner and visiting with friends, and a roof top area that can be climbed via a narrow stair case with great views of the surrounding neighborhood and Hydra Town. (This was a really nice feature) We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend...

« It is everything listed! The only issue may be how steep the stairs are, but this is not unusual on Hydra or in Greece for that matter. Things are built upward, not outward so there are usually steep stairs at hotels and even restaurants. I only mention it if you have older or weaker members, they may not be able to use the upstairs. My wife and I had no problems though and we're well over 50! Rania is very easy to work with and attentive! Definitely a great place to stay! »

« it's a great place, lots of room, big pool and a tennis court. 3 minutes drive from the nearest beach. you must have a car. very clean and well equipped. too bad there were fire alerts so we couldn't use the outdoor BBQ & pizza over. »

« Wonderful home in a great location on a small, easy island. House is fantastic—clean, spacious, well-apppointed. Amazing views, beautiful pool, great kitchen. Six minute walk to Marathonas beach for swimming, restaurants, good grocery store. Adventurous, fun walk or 10 minute taxi ride to Perdika or Aegina port town. Accommodating hosts, wonderful stay, we hope to be back someday! »

« La maison est très agréable et bien équipée, elle est suffisamment vaste pour y séjourner en groupe sans se gêner. L oliveraie est superbe et la plage de galets ombragée qui n est pas loin n était pas bondée la première semaine d'août. Un bémol ? « We were met by Manos and Beverly who escorted us to our apartment letting us know local information along the way - best supermarket, best restaurants, best beaches etc. They introduced us to the neighbour who quickly gave us some cucumbers for dinner. Our next few days were paradise - the food, the beaches and the very friendly Poros locals. « Really enjoyed our stay. House was good, but the pool was what made it, all to ourselves, warm water, lovely view. Both our VRBO contact and the person who lived downstairs were both really helpful but not at all obtrusive on our holiday. Porto heli is nice. We should probably have hired a car to explore more but taxis were easy and not too expensive. Spetses was lovely to visit by water taxi. »

« This was such a great place to stay. About 50 yard walk to the sandy beach and the town with shops and restaurants is maybe another 100 yds. Great view and pool was really nice. It doesn't call it out, but it does share the pool with the house to the right as you face the pool. Wasn't a problem as the people were super nice and we really didn't have any overlap issues. »

« This property was full of surprises! From the bountiful flower garden, the unique stone art sitting areas on each floor, and the wonderfully outfitted rooms! But what was even greater than the full sea view from the balcony, was the hospitality of the host who lovingly maintains the property grounds, finds books in guests’ language from the borrow library and inquires about his guests’ experiences and adventures. I would not only stay again, but I would entertain a longer stay. LOVED IT!!! »
