« The location of this place was the only reason I gave 3 stars. We booked this place as the listing stated it slept 8-10 comfortably. We had a party of 8. 2 families of 4. The listing stated it had 3 bedrooms with a king bed in one room, 2 twin beds in another, and 2 queen beds in the 3rd. However, in the details of the description, the 3rd was the living room and the listing stated a queen pullout sofa and a queen blow up mattress. When we arrived, there was no pullout sofa, and 2 blow up...

« I stayed at the keeper's house on Charity Island in mid-August with my parents, daughter, and nieces (ages 8-10). It's such a unique stay and very peaceful. The house is spacious and fairly well stocked, though we spent most of the time outside. There are two beach areas- one rocky and one sandy- and the water is shallow (<4 ft) quite a ways out, which was perfect for the kids.
