This was a wonderful home, and I wish I could’ve given it 5 stars, but a few ongoing issues prevented that. We had a great time in Port St. Joe—my dogs loved the yard, and we spent hours relaxing poolside. The property is managed by a company that was reachable by phone, but none of the issues were resolved during our stay:1) No dish soap was provided—I called Tuesday morning (we arrived Monday), but none was delivered before we left Saturday.2) The fridge water filter was so overdue that neither water nor ice worked.3) The dishwasher filter appeared uncleaned and had a noticeable odor.4) I confirmed in advance that the pool would be usable (not heated was fine), but it wasn’t maintained as stated (Tuesdays & Fridays), and the filtration system wasn’t working; the pump ran 24/7.Some recommendations for the property team that did not affect our stay or review:-Dishcloths to wipe down counters-Drying rack for inside the sink-Hooks for pool towels (we used the kitchen stools)-2–3 throw blankets-Lid for the indoor kitchen trash-Keurig cups—this makes a big difference and adds a personal touch-Sharpen knives-Check the garbage disposal (there may be a small stone in it; this was present before our arrival)-Tighten the bathtub water handle
