Expérience des plus positive...
Grand appartement lumineux et bien équipé, situé hors de la cohue des chantiers de construction tout en étant près du centre historique. Personnel très accueillant, serviable en nous suggérant des restos etc. Très accommodant... ils nous ont permis de déposer nos bagages puis d'accéder à l'appartement tôt en matinée suite à notre arrivée de l'aéroport.

Bien mais mal insonorisé
Beau bâtiment ancien, bien situé. Les chambres les chambres sont très spacieuses et bien décorées ! Attention, côté isolation sonore ce n’est pas top… nous entendions les autres guests parler/ marcher dans le couloir ou sur la terrasse. Plutôt dérangeant lorsqu’ils rentrent tard ou partent tôt.

excellente adresse à revenir a Porto
Hôtel très bien place au centre vile de Porto avec toutes les facilites pour déplacement. Chambres propres et grandes; lit bien confortables; excellent service. Bonne nourriture; seule bémol a mon gout une décoration avec modernité que ne se marie pas avec la belle maison. je vous conseille pour un séjour confortable et pratique ; adresse a revenir et bonne qualité rapport prix

Magnifique trésor de Porto
Excellent accueil, très belle bâtisse, rénovée avec goût. Endroit magnifique, chambre spacieuse , salle de bain magnifique, jardin, salons.

Amazing stay - great staff & location
This place was one of the best i've stayed. The hotel is quite small (i believe 5 rooms) which allows a very dedicated service. The place itself is beautiful and well decorated. Staff was amazing and very kind in assisting us. The place is also very well located.

Check in with Bruno was excellent! So very welcoming and helpful. Also shared tips on places to eat in the area. You don’t get that kind of welcome at big name brands!

Bruno was an amazing ambassador for both the Charm Palace and Porto in general. What an asset to your operation! His recommendations for places to eat were right on the mark and exactly as he describe — down to the descriptions of the food courses. So enthusiastic and genuinely interested in helping us experience the best few days we could in your city. The rooms are spectacular and the location perfect for staying just outside the hubub of the tourist core while still only 15 minutes walk from the old city centre. Too bad the water heater broke for the last two days though. The cold showers were bracing but not quite what we had hoped for. 😆 (An offer of free breakfast on the last morning would have been a cool gesture to make up for it. Just something to consider for future.) We would definitely come back for the check-in alone though!

We loved the Charm Palace. We stayed here two nights on a road trip through Spain/Portugal. We did book the "deluxe" room, which was more like a full apartment and was a nice relief after hotel rooms. The man that checked us in was really helpful.

Beautiful property, amenities close by. No parking, paid parking garage 10 minute walk away. Room was hot, no air, hard to leave windows open because of street and traffic noise.Bed just had a cold weather comforter, no sheet, so had to sleep without covers because of heat. Would still go back

While we were fine with the lack of staff at the facility per the description, our room was incredibly stuffy and the toilet wasn’t thoroughly cleaned. There was one small fan to “compensate” for the lack of air conditioning but the circulation was poor. Opening the windows led to a shared sun room with the hall and room across from us so we couldn’t leave it open to allow the cool air to come in. I will say the tub and shower were excellent, however. Pillows on the bed were flat and old. Just an ok, but otherwise uncomfortable stay.

Such a nice experience. Charming. Special. Had the Suite Verde with a bath tub and aircon. Enjoyed it a lot. Could have stayed longer. And Bruno was so welcomming and helpful. Gave advise on restaurants which we tried out. They were really good. Thanks for making our stay so nice.

A Porto delight!
A beautiful guesthouse, located centrally but outside of all the action. We walked to all the sites north and south of the river. Our room was very comfortable, really spacious and very well equipped. Paid on street parking in front but a paid car park nearby and very good value. We paid €20 for 48 hours.

This is a charming property which has a distinct style. Our room was spectacular and unusual. Helpful staff and nice breakfast. A lovely quiet garden at the rear. Close to the underground and city centee. Highly recommend

It is a cute building. Unfortunately, there are a few drawbacks: very uncomfortable beds and no air conditioning. They should get mattress covers and mini splits. There was a WiFi issue during my stay, but they did come to fix it. I did not like that they entered my unit without permission while I slept late one morning to do the WiFi repairs.

That historical hotel I always wanted stay in :)
Helpful friendly and beautiful with a fantastic location is how I would descibe this hotel experience. My advise would be to plan to bring in one meal to eat in the courtyard and have a relax in the upper sitting area.

Excelente relación calidad-precio. El apartamento tiene de todo y es muy cómodo y espacioso. El desayuno nos encantó. Además el personal fue muy amable, el chico que gestionó el check in nos apuntó en un mapa los sitios a los que nos recomendaba ir dándonos un montón de detalles y consejos. Mención especial para la mujer que prepara el buffet del desayuno, todo estaba muy rico y no faltaba detalle a pesar de que éramos pocos huéspedes.

Truly palatial accommodation
I loved Charm Palace. My room was stunning. Large and airy with french windows to the garden and a table and chairs outside. Huge and very comfortable bed. The bathroom was luxurious with a fabulous chandelier. The grand staircase and guest living area were gorgeous. And the help and advice on what to do and where to go in Porto was excellent - the guys went above and beyond to make my stay a wonderful experience. I'll definitely be back!

We've been to Porto before so wanted to try something a bit different. While this is a unique old mansion with lots of character we did feel there were several not so great things about it. I'm certain it was fabulous when it was all first renovated but it's beginning to show it's age. We were in the large self contained apartment on the top floor so this is another thing to consider. Many stairs and steep ones at that. Several things i.e. shower door doesn't stay shut, coffee maker we had to ask for didn't work properly, very sparsely fitted for necessary kitchen utensils dishes etc, certain lights not working, front entrance and upper apartment key tricky and didn't always function. The staff we saw (Bruno, Ricardo) were lovely and very attentive however. The apartment is in a great location to get to everything and has a new large grocery store on the corner and very close to the Metro.

Charm Palace was perfect for a couple stay.
Our stay was great, had everything we needed. Azul room beautiful, had a bathroom out of this world. Charm Palace is in walking distance to anywhere. Parking is near if needed for 10eur/24h. Front desk people really nice with good recommendations for anything we needed. Garden to relax if you need to. Awesome decorations. Thank you!

A little gem
We were very pleased with our stay at the Charm Palace. A beautiful converted historical property in the heart of the city..easy walking distance to the main areas... Our room was clean, spacious and overlooked the lovely contemporary styled garden. We were'nt a fan of the open bathroom. We loved the style, decor, high ceilings and original Portuguese floor tiles. Help your self tea service was appreciated with pastries and fresh fruits during the day. Continental breakfast was ok Our wonderful experience of Porto was made possible by Majorie, she was an absolute gem, friendly, helpful and full of information..We will return on our next visit..Thank you Majorie.
