Chambre agréable avec vue mer proche centre
Très bonne nuit dans hôtel avec vue mer et terrasse. Une machine expresso avec dosette à disposition dans la chambre et bouilloire.

Emplacement ideal mais prestations moyennes
L'hotel est idealement situé et c'est ce qui justifie son prix. Positano est assailli de touristes en journee et pouvoir s'y promener en soiree, une fois la foule partie, est un vrai bonheur. L'hotel, donnant sur une rue pietonne, est tres difficile a trouver la 1ere fois, mais on s'y habitue vite! Les chambres de l'hotel sont tres propres mais peut etre un peu trop sombres / decoration trop basique. Pour un sejour en amoureux, on a vu mieux... seule consolation : la terrasse avec vue mer qui nous a permis de passer des moments tres agreables ! Le petit dejeuner etait tres basique (peu de choix, qualite des produits tres moyenne) Le personnel est en revanche tres agreable et souriant ! Nous avons pu sejourner dans cet hotel grace au programme de fidelite hotels.com, sans quoi je n'aurais certainement pas payé ce prix (160e/nuit) pour cet hotel.

Things to note about the property, which are probably common to most of the hotels in Positano: 1) Parking is expensive 2) There are a lot of steps everywhere. Do not go unless you are prepared for them. 3) They also will charge to carry your bags to and from your rooms. We were quoted 10 euros, but I negotiated down to 5. Otherwise, everything was great.

My wife and I had a wonderful time at Casa Guadagno! Beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. Great location that’s only about a 10-15 minute walk to Positano’s main piazza. Would highly recommend Casa Guadagno to anyone visiting Positano.

Everything was perfect. Filoteo was great on every single detail. Breakfast is great. I would just advise elderly that we had around 120 steps down to get to our room and the same number up to arrive on the street.

Lovely stay
Big spacious room with a lovely private terrace! The hotel staff was amazing, and even helped coordinate a rental car parking spot for me in advance which was a lifesaver. Outstanding location! We would happily stay here again

The small hotel nestled in the cliff-side itself is quite charming! In addition, you couldn't ask for a more accommodating, friendly, and warm staff. Breakfast on the terrace was delightful and cheery and they offered a wonderful selection of different items to choose from. Our room had a wonderful view of the Ocean and although the rooms are small, the bathroom and deck were still a good size and made it feel bigger. We are so happy we chose this hotel!!

We stayed for 3 nights. Walkable (is stairable a word?) to everything in Positano. Leave the car at home! (we did not have one) the staff were able to arrange all of your transfers and reservations. Many of which were the day of with short notice. We would just sent a message, and about 15 min later we had our reservation! Great breakfast every morning. 500 stairs direct to small beach. Drinks from the mini bar and lobby are less expensive than the small store in town.

Wonderful gem. Lovely rooms with a nice balcony to view the sea. Little touches such as a small clothesline, tea and coffee and iron and ironing board. Yummy breakfast. Hosts very friendly and great communication. Would definitely recommend and we will be back.

The property is kept up nicely and the rooms are very clean. The pictures are accurate. The location is nice for those who want a more peaceful atmosphere. With that said it's a bit out of the way from restaurants and shopping. Most of Positano is walking and climbing stairs but just know that this hotel requires even more due to its location. Overall, I thought the hotel was great, the staff is very friendly, and it is a great value. However, if you are looking to be closer to the main part of Positano for a more lively atmosphere this may not be a good option.

An oasis in Positano.
What a great place to stay. The location is close enough but also a quiet oasis. The family who run the hotel are so good and so friendly you almost feel like part of the family. Great breakfast and the best coffees. Will definitely recommend and hopefully stay again.

This property has a beautiful balcony overlooking the sea! The staff is extremely hospitable and has excellent communication with guests. It is within walking distance to restaurants and shops as well as beaches. We had an amazing stay and we highly recommend this property!

Fantastic stay at Casa Guadagno. What a beautifully run, friendly family hotel. It is Positano, so there are stairs and walking everywhere, but the hotel was fairly convenient to get to and from the centre of town by bus. There are several dining options and shopping within walking distance as well. We had a lovely room with balcony and enjoyed fantastic breakfast every morning. We hope to come back to this lovely hotel again.

Fantastic!
Positano is one very expensive place to stay at especially if you’re staying downtown. This hotel is quite a little surprise and it’s only a 11 minute walk from downtown just don’t do the stairs at the base of the mountain to get there as that’s like going to Hell and back physically. The hotel was a great surprise. The beds are a little dated, the same with the rooms, but it really doesn’t matter when you open the doors out to the balcony and look out to the sea. The hotel rooms were fantastic with their Positano charm floors and decor. The bathroom is a little small, but that’s like being in Italy as a whole . The breakfast was fantastic. The customer service was really fantastic. Jessica really is an amazing person who helped out in every which way when we had a problem or needed a reservation. This by no means is a place like The Four Seasons, but for the money and location, it offers a great amount for its visitors. The customer service really blew me away here, and that within itself deserves five stars. Everybody walks in Positano and it really isn’t that bad of a walk when you’re going down to Chez black restaurant or downtown plus walking down the hill there’s a variety of shops to stop by to the same with fantastic restaurants across the street and gelato around the corner. Don’t get diverted by the hotel online ratings. If you’re looking for a small old world charm Positano classic stay and here not ata big hotel, this is the place to go too. Highly recommended!

Sehr gute Lage - trotz Treppen und Höhenunterschiede alles einfach zu erreichen im Vergleich und wirklich nahe zum empfohlenen Parkplatz. Unglaublich nette Hotelbesitzer und wir hatten sehr gutes Frühstück und einen tollen Ausblick bei einem abschliessenden Glas Rotwein nachts auf der Terrasse vom Zimmer.

Friendly and informative staff. Checkout was a little earlier then most hotels since they require you to check out by 1030, but they were accommodating enough to hold our bags until we were ready to leave. Breakfast was a little basic, but the lovely staff made up for it. Overall, it was a great stay and I can’t wait to stay there again

Great place to stay in Positano
Hotel was very communicative prior to arrival about parking or taxi options. They booked the parking for us. Closest parking is a 3 min walk from Hotel with few stairs. Great service. Lovely room and beautiful views. This is a great value for money. (This is really a bed and breakfast, not a Hotel) .

Money before guests health and safety
Our vacation began well although we were shocked at how tiny our room was. Adequate view from balcony but not unobstructed. A visibly Ill guest was permitted to check in next to our room and resulted in one of us becoming ill shortly afterwards. Our honeymoon was ruined and hospitalization became necessary once home.

The hotel was the perfect place for us. Quaint, beautiful, and affordable. The staff was unbelievable and treated us like family (like a true Italian would). Our room view was beautiful. The included breakfast was perfect. Positano can get confusing and the staff was there to help. Their form of communication (Whatsapp) was a key reason we enjoyed our stay. They always had cold bottled water available for purchase, called us many cabs, gave excellent recommendations, and were truly fantastic. 10/10 would recommend and will stay again.
