Paradise
We wanted a little get a way trip and we ended up getting married!! Our host and hostess offered to be our witnesses, then we all went out fir a drink! Loveliest couple! The love shack was so cute and cozy.. the hosts were so down to earth and kind. We arrived an hour ahead of time and they ket us check in early! Unfortunately we had a family emergency and had to leave in the middle of the night, but the exoerience was great! Ty Steve and Barbara.. same time and place next year!

We wondered why you would leave so early! I hope it wasn’t anything too serious! You forgot your bottle of Honeymoon wine but we will give it to you on your anniversary!

Beautiful
Absolutely fantastic place to stay and unwind! Quiet and serene. Cozy living space with lots to do within the area. Walking distance to many trails. Host was very helpful and friendly. Will return to this area and definitely stay here!!

THE LOVE SHACK

Nice little stay
Stayed 2 nights. Nice and quiet. Just enough space for 2 people and it has everything you need. Cute place and very clean.

Love Retreat

Perfect getaway
My stay was just what I was looking for. The home is cute, comfy, and cozy. Snowed while I was there which made it even more beautiful. Would DEFINITELY stay again. Thank you!

A great place for a short or long term getaway.
The hosts were amazing and took care of everything for us. They prepared a snow free parking spot for us and were available at all hours if we needed anything from them. Some of the better hosts we've ever had. The shower floor did have some hair in it from a past guest and the bedroom floor had some dirt. The couch had some food pieces from a past stay as well. But we would definitely stay again!

Great little get-away place
We really enjoyed our stay! I loved the skylight in the bedroom! The bathroom design was really nice and the shower was super spacious. The toilet set was also heated which was a nice feature in November and other winter months! We’d like to stay here again!

Private Couples Retreat! Secluded, yet 15 minutes from everything!
Wonderful, secluded little home in the Prescott National Forest. The Owner/Manager was quick to respond to my inquiry. Highly recommend!!!

Cool getaway
Great place tucked away in a private and quiet area surrounded by the forest and right by the creek. Very relaxing and comfortable stay. Still very close to the attractions in downtown Prescott too! The hosts were very helpful both ahead of our stay and upon arrival. Thank you!

Just what we needed
The rental is set in a location that affords privacy yet close to it all. Our hosts were responsive when we inquired about local services. I would definitely recommend this property to other travelers. We have been to many different places and this vacation rental was the best. Clean and reasonably priced. Thanks Barbara and Steve!

Lovely place
We had a great time here and the living quarters were just right for a couple like us. The location is fantastic at the end of a small road that feels very secluded. Check-in and out were very easy and communication between us and the hosts was convenient and prompt. We would highly recommend this lovely rental.

Awesomeness Getaway
Loved having a place to come back to after a long day of shopping, hiking, rodeo and other events. It was exactly as advertised and would recommend it to anyone traveling to the Prescott area. Steve and Barb have done a wonderful job with their property!

Great location! Secluded and peaceful
The love shack was beautiful and clean! Short distance to lynx lake and all the restaurants. It’s located down a cult a sac and was peaceful and secluded from the hustle and bustle! The sky light in the bedroom was a nice feature to lay and watch the stars at night. The owners were friendly and accommodating, offering kayaks for the lake for convenience. I would stay again for sure. Thanks for the great experience for my Father’s Day trip with my daughter.

Great place to stay for a visit
We Hiked right from the LoveShack a big plus for me. It is Close to downtown but far enough away to be very quiet at night. The host was very responsive. I will be looking to stay here again when we visit our son in the future.

Enjoy The Quiet & Peaceful
The Love Shack was very enjoyable and we had a great time. All the necessities were available and the ambiance was very soothing. Barbara was very helpful with any questions we had. The road to the house is a dead end, so there wasn't hardly any traffic. The nights were very quiet. Barbara was very accommodating to allow us to bring our Siberian Huskies who thoroughly enjoyed the completely fenced yard. Everything was exactly how described and then some. You won't be disappointed.

Charming place, great location!

This property was like being in Paradise, Lovely place with so many features. Weather was awesome
Only complaint cleaning was substandard. Needs more attention to dusting wood blinds, ceiling fans and oven could use alot more TLC. However, beyond beautiful, clever touches with water fall both inside and out. Entire setting is Fantastic. Thank you for the memories.

Simply Devine
Loved our time at this very quaint, comfortable, fun cottage in the woods. Or hosts were simply great! We were able to go on beautiful walks everyday and were close to all the fun things to do in Prescott and Prescott Valley. If you just want to hang out, relax, enjoy the trees and forest and be nice and cozy, this is the place for you😉.

Lovely Cabin - amazing people
I am usually skeptical about listings for vacations - they don't always deliver what they promise. My stay at the Love Shack delivered more than promised. The host Barbara is the consummate host, the property is even better than the pictures and the people and landscapes of Prescott are all amazing. The trailhead for the Salida Gulch trail is right down the block for hikers. The cabin is in a lovely neighborhood in the forest. Great job Barbara!

Love this little gem! Peaceful location with lots of trees and nice large yard for our dogs.

For me, the peaceful location adjacent to wildlands yet near town were ideal for my six-night stay. Friendly owners and their dogs are next door. I appreciated that they notified me of a mountain lion sighting nearby one evening. Also nice to find a small place like this on Vrbo for solo travelers.

This is the place to unplug!
The majority of our time was spent on-site reading, watching movies, and napping. Our goal was to unplug and that’s what we did. The sound of the water trickling outside the door and the birds chirping cleared our minds immediately. We would definitely recommend the staying at the Loveshack!

Lovely small cabin in forest
It was a lovely little cabin with designer touches. A heated toilet seat with a light. We had a very nice stay and the cabin was centrally located which made it easy to find points of interest.

Cool getaway in the pines!
We spent 4 wonderful nights at the Love Shack, enjoying the beautiful scenery and wonderful accommodations! Barbara and Steven were wonderful to interact with and were extremely responsive! We loved the secluded location, just 5 minutes from the main highway, but it seemed far removed from any noise and traffic. We really enjoyed the bedroom skylight, being able to view the night sky and constellations! Their two dogs were sweet as can be and a delight to play with!

Great Hosts, Lovely Property and Perfect Stay
This is truly a gem of a property with incredibly thoughtful and accommodating hosts. The cozy apartment was tastefully decorated with every amenity needed for a blissful stay. We enjoyed our complimentary wine (thank you!) outside by the waterfall on the peaceful evenings, and walked less than 1/4 mile to Lynx Lake Recreation area where we hiked the Salida Gorge trail with petroglyphs and panoramic views. Our hosts not only welcomed our cat but let us come in a few hours early AND when our RV repair was ready early they let us park it on their property overnight the last night! We can’t say enough kind words about our hosts and our truly relaxing stay—if you get to book this property you are very lucky!!

Paradise in the Hills
This place is so cool, coming from the Midwest, it was like a oasis in the middle of the high desert area with a flare of up north! It is decorated so nice and the creek running through the front and the skylight in the bedroom was icing on the cake! Will be a return guest!
