We enjoyed our stay visiting family in Talbot and Dorchester Counties. The house provides a beautiful view of the river. We enjoyed visiting the Harriet Tubman Museum during our stay. We appreciate that staple items such as trash bags, dishwasher soap and paper towels were provided. We would love to stay again when in the area.

We enjoyed this beautiful river home over the weekend with our adult children and their spouses as we were attending a wedding in Easton. It was about a 20 minute ride through cornfields and Eastern Shore countryside. The house was clean and well appointed. We enjoyed the peaceful Choptank River. We would definitely like to stay again

My group and I chose this house as a retreat. It was a perfect place for rest, reconnection, and relaxation. This house was very clean, including the linens. Beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, and there was even a spice cabinet to use. We used the kayak and the outdoor firepit which was a lovely addition to the weekend. We had two issues: lack of an outdoor trashcan which according to the property manager is supposed to be resolved and a wonky bathroom door that hung sideways and didn't shut which made it awkward for people using the bathroom. Thank goodness we were close friends. Fortunately, these didn't interfere with our enjoyment of the property and the weekend.

Our stay at the river house was great! Although we didnā€™t spend a lot of time on the river, the house was fantastic-very clean, comfortable and provided a gorgeous view of the Choptank. The neighborhood was very quiet! Steven was very prompt in returning my messages. We hope to come back soon!

Although we did not stay on property long and also it rained the entire time, our family enjoyed the stay and the very serene atmosphere. There was more than enough space for the 5 of us. If planning to stay here, make sure you bring groceries if you donā€™t plan to leave. The closest stores are over 25 minutes away. If you drink coffee, there is only a Keurig and not a percolator. Our only real caution is we had some ants on the kitchen counters,

The stay here was just how I envisioned. The home was beautiful, clean and peaceful. It was a little chilly during the stay so we couldnā€™t experience any water activities but that didnā€™t stop the fun by a long shot. My husband was able to fish as much as he wanted with no interruptions and he caught a nice amount of fish also. 10/10 definitely recommend this home for a nice relaxing weekend. And the host was super helpful and super nice.

This was our second stay at the River House and it was great. Everything was as listed and expected. We took day trips to Assateague Island, Annapolis and St. Michaels. Our boys loved being able to fish in the backyard as well as at the wharf one house over. It is a very peaceful and quiet neighborhood with beautiful views. The owner is very responsive and everything from check-in to check-out went smoothly.

This property is exactly the same as the photos and it is in a beautiful, quiet location. Each morning you wake up to the view of the Choptank River and various birds. The house has a large yard as well as a small tidal beach, which our grandson loved, even in winter. Communication with the owner was prompt and the self-entry makes it very convenient. The house was extremely clean and well stocked. Every detail has been thought through as well as lovely decorations. The house is spacious and the internet works well. Everything you would need can be found in the town of Easton and St Michaels is a charming historical town. We visited Blackwater Reserve as well as Annapolis. Our Christmas vacation was a great balance between exploring the area and relaxation. Thank you Steven for opening up this wonderful home for others to enjoy.

We selected this home to stay near family in Easton and have more space. The house was even nicer in person! The kids loved running around the yard and using the kayak. The owners thought of so many details for their guests! They also responded to my messages within minutes. We found the kitchen very well stocked with cookware which we enjoyed to cook family meals. The sunsets on the river were beautiful! We enjoyed walks in the morning through the neighborhood and found the neighbors very friendly! We definitely are considering booking again in the future! We highly recommend this property!

We chose this location for our by annual biking holiday. The roads of the Eastern shore of Maryland are quite conducive to this activity. The house was clean and nicely situated to both Cambridge and Easton. An extra bonus was its location right on the Choptank River which allowed us to go kayaking every afternon. We, really, enjoyed our stay and if spending time on the Eastern shore again in the future we will surely come back.
