« Joules and her Son were absolutely wonderful hosts. We couldn’t have been made to feel any more welcome and we had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. The breakfast was outstanding - lots of choice and super fresh and tasty. Joules’ baking was a great surprise treat, a lovely touch in our room on arrival and the Brownies later in our stay were out of this world! Our room was spotless, very comfy bed, lovely armchairs with the spectacular view over Ironbridge and the valley....

« We stayed two nights for our wedding anniversary. We had a great time despite all the museums being temporarily closed. They will be open next week possibly. Dawn and Danny were fantastically hospitable. The room was very comfortable with a huge shower. We ate in one evening after a drink outside. The standard of the food was fantastic as were the breakfasts. We will undoubtedly return when the National Trust have opened everything up again. »

« We enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Down Inn. The staff were friendly, our room was comfortable and clean, and parking was easy. There was a good choice of food on the breakfast menu and the cooked dishes were well cooked. If anything there was a bit too much food, but that's a personal preference. We appreciated the fact that there were a selection of cold options (such as cereals and yoghurts), continental (croissants) and a number of different cooked options. We ate in the restaurant one...
