The Space:
This cozy space in the residential area of South Providenciales island provides an amazingly authentic experience when traveling to Turks & Caicos Island. Whether you’re an adventure-seeker or a seeker of peace and natural beauty, you’ll have it all nearby this Chalk Sound beachside cottage!
The main spaces of this 550 sq ft cottage for up to 2 guests:
- A comfy LIVING AREA with a sofa & TV w/basic cable. Perfect for downtime moments at home!
- A well-equipped KITCHEN with a microwave, toaster & coffee maker and the cooking essentials needed for preparing meals at home.
- A cozy KITCHEN TABLE to enjoy meals or an AM coffee before heading out for the day. This can also be a laptop workspace if needed for the remote worker.
- One BEDROOM with a queen-sized bed, simple and practical w/ nightstand and vanity area.
- A FULL BATHROOM with a stand-in shower, sink & toilet and of course, hot water.
- There’s a WASHER and DRYER in the home for your convenience.
- Free PARKING on the premises.
- You can also take a little stroll down to the gazebo located beetween the two guest cottages and enjoy the Chalk Sound views from there. There is a shared patio area too. The views are always amazing and it’s a great way to start your day or end it with a spectacular sunset!
The residence is located on Chalk Sound, South Providenciales of Turks and Caicos Islands (TCI) which is a quiet and peaceful residential area. It features Chalk Sound national park and its highly scenic natural lagoon on one side and the Atlantic on the other. You’re bound to enjoy some stunning views whether you enjoy sunrises or sunsets. It’s also close to some of South Provo’s top beaches like Taylor Bay and Sapodilla Bay Beach.
Guest Access:
You’ll have full, exclusive access to the residence during your stay and shared access to the gorgeous gazebo and patio area between your rental and the other guest cottage on the property. This home is a semi-detached property attached to the owner's house. It has its own entrance and is completely independent of the owner's house.
The Neighborhood:
Chalk Sound is a quiet and peaceful residential area and national park with incredibly scenic natural lagoon. The cottage features that view on one side and the Atlantic on the other! You’ll find:
- Endless natural beauty and stunning sunsets (or head to Atlantic side for the sunrise)
- Easy access to Chalk Sound Drive to restaurants, beaches, tour operators & other parts of the island
- a 4-min drive down to Taylor Bay Beach and 5-min drive down to Sapodilla Bay Beach, two of the closest beaches and notably best beaches on the island with very relaxed vibes.
- a 24- min drive to Grace Bay Beach, world-renowned beach on the northeast coast of the island loaded with activity, bars, restaurants and more
- a 28-min drive to Long Bay Beach, on the other side of Grace Bay, with an array of water sports available
For Shopping/Grocery:
- Head to town towards airport, about 10 min drive and find several options like Graceway and Sunny’s Market
Golf :
- Provo Golf Club (across the highway at Grace Bay) 25-min drive

TCI is repeatedly rated in the list of top 10 Caribbean travel destinations and is now one of the fastest-growing destinations in the Caribbean. Stunning white sand beaches, exquisite turquoise water, and friendly locals make TCI a unique and magical place. It’s also an amazing destination for water sports. There’s snorkeling, kayaking, paddle boarding, freediving, fishing, kiteboarding, sailing, wakeboarding - you name it!
Getting Around:
Guests have free parking on the premises for two vehicles. The resort is 7.4 miles (11.9 km) from Providenciales International Airport (PLS), about a 20-min drive.
If you like to get out and explore and want to see the most of our gorgeous island of Providenciales, we highly recommend that you rent a car for your stay, as there is no organized public transportation on the islands. May we suggest Swift or Hertz as two good rental car company options. This area of Chalk Sound is just a bit off the beaten path as it’s located in a peaceful natural park, so you will need to drive to get to stores, restaurants, and attractions on the island.
Other Things to Note:
This residence is a semi-detached property attached to the owner's house. It has its own entrance and is completely independent of the owner's house; the space is all your own.
WiFi, cable TV, parking, bed linens, bath & beach towels, and beach essentials like a beach umbrella, beach blanket & snorkel gear are provided free for guests during their stay.
There is no daily housekeeping but if you’d like a cleaning, one can be arranged for an additional fee. Just let us know in advance so we can set it up for you.
There is a BBQ grill available on property and it is free to use but please note it is shared with other guest cottage in the back, as is the gazebo.
For sanitary reasons, there is no food stored in the kitchen or refrigerator. All food items are removed after each guest checks out. Therefore there will be no supply of items such as condiments, cooking oils, boxed food, etc. prior to check-in. If you plan to cook at home, you’ll need to buy these items at the grocery stores or we offer a grocery shopping service, where we’ll shop for you, get all the items on your list and bring them to you for an additional fee.
We supply some home/bath essentials to make you feel more at home when you arrive like toilet paper, soap and some shampoo during your stay. If you need something else, you’ll need to pick up what you need at the store and bring it in.
Guests will be requested to sign a Rental Agreement upon booking confirmation.
A security deposit may be required prior to arrival or at check-in subject to the booking platform used to make the reservation. This fee is charged as a credit card transaction and refunded after check-out, provided all terms are met.
There is a security camera monitoring the public street entrance gate which will show whenever any of the guests drive out and get back in. The owner lives next door, so this camera is actually attached to the owner's home.
Turks and Caicos is going through a decrease in the water supply. This means that the water pressure can sometimes be affected when the reservoir levels are low. Water shortages can happen throughout the day.
HOUSE RULES
- Travelers must be at least 21 years of age or older to book.
- No smoking of any kind is allowed (tobacco or cannabis) allowed inside the home, and the use of any recreational drugs on the premises is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply will incur a $300 penalty.
- No parties or events are permitted, illegal activity is prohibited and excessive noise won't be tolerated. No loud music is allowed. Please be respectful of the neighbors.
- No more guests than those listed in your reservation are allowed. No tent or other structures may be set up on the ground of the property.
- Renters agree to cover any charge related to damages that occurred during their stay or cover necessary extra-cleaning charges if needed after their stay.
- Renters may be required to provide a government ID upon booking, on the day of checking in, or during their stay for identity verification.
- Please avoid moving furniture.
- Pets are not allowed.
Interaction with Guests:
The property is self-check-in. The keys will be hidden in a location near the door. We will provide the information before your arrival and check in.
You’ll have complete privacy during your stay, but we are available 7 days a week! Should you need anything - just message us!
Also, the owner Patricia lives on the premises in the event you need any immediate assistance regarding something on the property or recommendations about the island, she is there.

Awesome stay
We spent a few nights here during our trip to TCI. The location is away from the touristy areas, but still only a 15-20min drive to the bars and restaurants near Grace Bay. Chalk Sound is beautiful and the dock offers a peaceful spot to take in the view and access the water. Plenty of other beach options nearby, along with some great restaurants. Hope to visit again soon.

Peaceful, cozy and relaxing
Away from the city town, this was the perfect get away for us. Quiet, the cottage had everything you need, for a cozy stay. The hosts are super lovely. Taylor Beach is magical (our favorite beach on the island) and less than 5 mins from the cottage. Kayaking around the property was so beautiful. We saw a flock of flamingos fly above us while eating breakfast in the gazebo the day before my birthday Definitely recommend one looks into renting a car. We’ll be back!!

Perfect place for 2
This property was perfect for the husband and myself for a week. Everything was clean and ready for our arrival, no issues finding the place at all. You do park right next to the homeowners cars so you are RIGHT NEXT TO their main entrance of the main house too. The owners were gone for the holiday week so i cant comment on if there's any sound transfer issues from the shared walls.
Theres a second rental space behind the main house and through our stay I believe we saw 3 different sets of people come and go. We never heard anything from that house or even cars going back & forth down the shared driveway. So over all a pretty quiet property, would definitely rent it again.
If I had 1 negative- If youre the type of person that watches tv in the evening the cable was very limited and i believe mostly spanish channels, and Its not smart tvs that you can log into your own subscriptions with. We were constantly on the go so this wasn't a problem for us at all the only night we were in early was because it was Christmas night and lots closed early. Most evenings we were sitting down on the lagoon dock listening to water.
