Property was clean, room was clean. Very decent breakfast with enough selection. Check in and check out was rather slow, but staff was knowledgeable and helpful. I did not care for the credit card deposit on an already paid for room. Causes me a little inconvenience for my expense reporting . Overall I’d give it a 4.5 out of 5 stars

We require the security deposit as we have Expedia's credit card on the prepaid reservation and not your credit card. We cannot charge Expedia's credit card if guests were to smoke in the rooms or cause damages. This is why we collected your credit card for the security deposit.

Pretty clean and up to date. Reserved through expedia, upon check in i was told i have to do an additional deposit per room. I would get it credited upon checkout and would show back up in a few days. Thats the only issue

I am sorry you were upset with your stay and that we reqwuire a security deposit. it clearly states on the wesite you booked with that we do require a security deposit. I feel it is unfair of you to giver a negative revuiew to us because you chose to not read ot ignore the security deposit information that is clearly stated.

Nice hotel, not fancy, but clean and quiet. Friendly, helpful staff. A short walk to a number of dining options, although the majority of dining options would require a long walk or a short drive to cross a busy street. Happy to see the pool and hot tub both working! The hot tub wasn't deathly hot, so some may not like it, but I loved it. The pool was too cold even for this warm blooded girl, despite being inside. One warning: DO NOT put your room keycard near your other credit cards or your phone- they will deactivate the keycard!

It is not some place I felt safe & it's overall vibe was terribly ghetto like. It made me edgy, and I slept poorly there, and I am very sorry I did not stay at the Holiday express. My idea is your stay should be relaxing & you should not have to be concerned about your vehicle being safe or yourself. The rating was similar to the Holiday express, but I guarantee you it was no where near it.

I am sorry but our hotel is not ghetto. You did not report any issues during your stay so we could address them. We are one of the safest hotels in town because of our strick security procedures to the point that theh battered women's shelter uses are hotel .

I am sorry you heard guests slamming doors. However, if yo uwould have reported this to the Freont Desk Agent we would have addressed the issue with the guests making the noise. As this is revew is the first time you mentioned this,we cannot address the issue. We clean our hallways every shift adn I assure you they are not dirty

Great room with a bad bathroom
There was a little bit of an issue with our room due to traveling with our small (17lb) dog - apparently only SOME rooms are pet friendly (this is listed in very small fine print- and it is listed as "pet friendly" everywhere else online). Dwayne - the manager called us and fixed the issue - however, he was only able to get us an ADA room since everything else was booked up. We appreciate this very much, however, due to the room accessibility requirements, there was not a bathtub, just a walk-in shower, which is not easy when traveling with an infant and small child. The shower was old with cracks in the floor at the wall, and it got water ALL over the bathroom. We had to place towels in a barricade to prevent water from running into our room. The entire bathroom floor had water on it after showering. Other then this, the stay was great- room very comfortable, pool was clean and well maintained.

Yes only some rooms are pet friendly as is the case with all hotels that allow pets. It does clearly state on the online site which rooms they are. We have no control over the format these thrid party website use as they are not our sites. It also states that if you are trveling with a pet to contact the hotel directly to see about availability of the pet rooms.

No manner, no professionalism, no class
It was an alright stay. I would give it a better review but I found the front desk night worker rude and since she wasn’t doing a great job and messed things up because she is new, the least she could do was smile and be polite!!! I couldn’t even tell you a name since she wasn’t wearing a name plate. I also only know she was new because the guy who was at the front desk told me she was new and bragged that she only made two mistakes, one was on my room and the other my friends. It seemed he lacked professionalism as well.

Eric, i understand when you come to a hotel the front desk should be able to get you in you room and make the check in as pleasant as we can and we do are best to do that. but we do have people training at times and yes we do make mistakes not olney at training at other times too we are human. nothing we do is done intentionally so I do apologize for inconvenience this may have cause you. and we do not like for anyone to fill we are being unfriendly are unprofessional we will talk to are frunt desk and let them know we need to try harder next time.

Smelly Room
When we checked in the room it smelled like animal and the manager came in and sprayed some type of odor eater. It's not that we don't like animals, we just don't want to sleep in the same room that they have. I've stayed in Comfort Suite Hotels before that was much nicer than this one. We'll not be staying there again. My Husband and I were thinking of even changing hotels.The manager explained that there was only two maids working that day so that was a problem because neither one of us wanted to shower because we didn't know if the dog had been in the bathtub and whether it had been cleaned properly.Next time we'll be sure to ask if the hotel is pet friendly because we'll book somewhere else.

You booked a room that clearly states it was a pet friendly room. We even explained this at check in. The room had a very slight smell and our rooms are cleaned very well. We even offered to move you rooms, which you declined.

Front desk trying to be nice but was rude. They had lemon water and sweet tea they didn't change daily they added more ice in the dispenser the next day.

The lemon water and tea are changed every day. We are required to have it available 24/7. We do not change it every hour and dump out perfect fresh lemon water and tea just to ensure that our guests see that we have changed it out. The dutied of changing it completely fall to the breakfast attendant and the Night Audit.

For finding a place to stay a night quickly this was a good place for sure. Nice quite and easy. One thing I found disliking was the bed itself. Pretty dirty looking 😬 Over all great.

My vehicle was stolen. Was not given much time past checkout to get things figured out. No one offered to check camera even though they said the spot was on camera.

That is not true. I did check the cameras at your request and as I explained to you, the cameras did not show anything as many other vehicles in the parking lot were blocking the view. As I and my Assistant manger are the only ones with the pasword to the cameras, you had to wait unitl I came into work to view them.
