„Hung up in unbelievable traffic in Santa Cruz, I was not able to check into the hotel until 7 AM the next day when they reopened. So I don't have the overnight experience one expects. That said, the room was very clean, the shower had good hot water, and I did get a morning nap on the bed. Fort7nately, it is off the road a bit. But noise carries and young Costa Ricans love their motorcycles. So if you are super noise sensitive that might bother you, but the traffic is really light on that ...

„This has to be the best view in Playa Carillo. Staff is super friendly and food is fantastic. Only a few minutes to one of the nicest beaches in Costa Rica. I recommend a 4x4 though to get there.“

„We can't say enough good things about Casa de la Loma. The pictures truly don't do it justice. The view is stunning and we found ourselves enjoying most of our meals outside. Ana and Freddy do an excellent job preparing meals and keeping the grounds clean. The beef tenderloin with the green peppercorn sauce was delicious, and was one of our favorite meals.
