« Great little cozy and comfy space but the mosquitoes worked their way into the room. That was a bit of a nuisance. Other than that the place was neat and clean and the shower was great. »

« Our particular room smelled like mildew and moisture. The bathroom appeared clean but the sink and shower smelled otherwise. I would not recommend staying at this location for the price. »

« The room was supposedly a non smoking room yet smelled horribly like smoke, talked to someone at front desk and was told all room were sold out so they couldn’t swap me rooms. Not even going to target for an odor neutralizer helped out »

« L’hôtel est vraiment original. Bravo aux femmes de ménage car la chambre était très propre malgré l’ancienneté des lieux et le nombre de meubles qu’il y a. La literie est confortable. Pas de réception mais les instructions sont correctes (on a un peu galéré pour trouver l’entrée car nous sommes arrivés de l’autre côté de san marcos) »

« The best part of the stay - an important part- were the beds. The lighting in the rooms are LED and harsh on the eyes. The noise from the freeway (and I live near a freeway) were much louder than anticipated. The rooms wedDefinitely bring noise cancelling headphones or a sound machine. I wouldn’t stay again. It was only ok and the location was less than ideal. »

« Melrose River Club was, without question, one of the best getaway experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, every detail felt intentional and thoughtfully designed to create the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. « Great stay! The hotel is conveniently located near the outlets, making shopping easy. The staff was friendly, and both the lobby and our room were clean and well-maintained. We didn't encounter any issues during our stay. Parking became a little challenging later in the evening, but we were still able to find a spot. Overall, we had a positive experience and would definitely stay here again. »

« There was a power outage in San Marcos which delayed our check in. When we finally got checked in we had to move rooms from an upper floor to a lower floor because the elevators were not working. I was quite surprised that the hotel did not have a back up generator. The new room we were in there was body hair throughout the restroom and a potato chip underneath the bed. Luckily this was a one night stay for us. »

« The property was clean and everything was relatively new. Late night self check in was easy and quick. The only issue I had was the television had intermittent reception issues with the cable broadcast. »

« Front desk people were nice, but the bathroom didn’t get cleaned from customers prior to us, dirty rag was left, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap was left in shower. The rest of the room looked like it had been cleaned (hopefully) not just put together meaning clean sheets and not just bed being made. Didn’t think I had to look at the shower before the next morning upon getting in. »
