Three bedrooms, including a bunk room the kids will claim immediately. The home is stocked with toys, books, and games, plus kid-friendly dishes and utensils so you can pack lighter and feel right at home.

Tucked into the Quechee woods, this retreat puts you at the center of everything the Upper Valley has to offer. Woodstock is less than 15 minutes away, and Hanover, NH, home to Dartmouth College, is just 15 minutes in the other direction. Shops, restaurants, and things to do are always within easy reach.

When it comes to outdoor adventure, you're spoiled for choice. Ski Quechee Ski Hill or Saskadena Six are just minutes away, or head to Killington via the Skyeship Gondola in about 30 minutes. Groomed cross-country ski trails and an outdoor ice skating rink are right outside the door.

Summer brings a different kind of magic, swim in the lake, explore nearby hiking and biking trails, and soak in the Vermont landscape at its best. In fall, the surrounding forest puts on a show, peak foliage doesn't get much better than this.

Or stay close to home, the back porch overlooks the woods, offering views of Mt. Ascutney and an ornamental waterfall, where the only thing on the agenda is doing nothing.
