Amazing Home
The Bali Tree House was a perfect place to stay in Manuel Antonio. Large, fully stocked kitchen, great pool and hot tub, wraparound porch to watch the various monkeys. And a quick walk down to Playitas beach. Highly recommend!

The Swiss Family Robinson Experience!
The Bali tree house really is an incredible experience in Costa Rica and should be booked if you get the chance. Our concierge Jorge greeted us upon arrival and helped us to the treehouse with our bags. The house is stunning and huge! The pool is very nice and the hottub warms up real quick. The outdoor setup was the perfect place to unwind after a full day at the beaches! The MONKEYS! What can we say, that was the ultimate highlight of our trip. Monkeys hanging out on the balcony during dinner, howler Monkeys at night and early morning, INCREDIBLE! That alone was worth the stay. We stayed here with 2 adults and 11yr old and 14yr old. We all had the time of our life. The treehouse is so close to the Manuel Antonio park and very close to amazing restaurants with amazing views. The grocery store us very close as well. We hope to be back soon!

AMAZING place to stay in Qeupos!
My friends and I traveled to Costa Rica to Celebrate 30th and 31st birthdays. We absolutley LOVED this property and we had the most amazing time. The house was beautiful, clean, nice, and very spacious. As an unexpected bonus, there were mokeys all over the balcony area most evenings which was very fun to see them so up close. Jorge, the concierge, was incredibly helpful and very responsive. The cleaners whi came every other day were also wonderful and much appreciated. i HIGHLY reccomend a stay here!! Thank you!

Wonderful
We had a fantastic stay at the Bali Treehouse. We saw monkeys and sloths right off our deck. The communication from Jorge was top notch. The treehouse itself, while beautiful, does feel a little tired in some ways. Part of stove didn't work and was quite worn. Dishwasher was old and wouldn't latch, peeling paint, etc. This didn't effect our stay, but thought it may be helpful for others.

Wonderful stay
This place is incredible. The name of the property is perfect, as it seems like you live in a treehouse. Monkey encounters daily, with early wake up calls from the howler monkeys and evening visits from the capuchins. The inside of the house is great, nice kitchen, comfy beds, and very clean. The pool is nice and cool which is great after a long day in the heat. 10/10 will be back!

Magical experience in Costa Rica!
Our family of 4 stayed in the treehouse for 5 nights (2 adults and 2 kids ages 7 & 11) The photos do not begin to do this home justice. Walking down the steps to the home you feel like you’ve entered your own oasis in the jungle that is just a short distance to the beach and many restaurants and shops. Our kids loved the pool which was the perfect size for us and enjoyed that is shaded in the afternoon. We also enjoyed the hot tub and beautiful landscaping around the property. The interior of the home was beautiful and very comfortable. The air conditioning was great and did a great job keeping the home cool during the hot weather for our stay. There are plenty of restaurants and shops close by (we recommend Le Papillion - best view in Manuel Antonio, El Avión - another great view, and Monarca Cafe -cool spot within a butterfly sanctuary with delicious food). We rented a car but probably could’ve gotten away with just using taxis. The concierge service is extremely helpful and Jorge and Hazel were incredibly professional, everything that was arranged was fantastic. The private chef we had our first night prepared the best meal we had in Costa! We also recommend the catamaran tour in the afternoon, it was super fun and an incredible sunset. The national park exceeded our expectations seeing sloths, tree frogs, iguanas etc. We saw monkeys every evening at the house, swinging from the trees above and sometimes showing up on the balcony! Highly recommend!!!

Treetop Tranquility
We loved our stay at Bali Treehouse and we hope to be back someday! My husband and I traveled for Spring Break with two of our kids, ages 24 and 20. There was more than enough room for all of us to retreat to our separate spaces, and the common areas were fantastic. We would get up early each mornings to drink coffee on the porch and watch monkeys in the tree tops (or on the roof!). The howler monkeys were so fun to listen to. We enjoyed relaxing every afternoon and evening in the pool and the hot tub. The location is great as well; walking distance or very short drive to the beach and great restaurants. Great experience! Don’t hesitate to book it.

A true piece of Paradise
We (my wife and our two friends, another same sex couple) literally loved everything about this magical home. The best of all worlds - it is nestled in the rain forest, yet it is only a half mile trek down to one of the most beautiful secluded beaches. We took advantage of the chef services the first two nights - a definite must! The house itself is wonderfully equipped for cooking, hanging out and cooling off in the pool (and there's a hot tub too!). Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. Also very close to several excellent restaurants (though we recommend driving or taking a taxi since there are no sidewalks). Jorge was very helpful with check-in and helping us with taxis and other services throughout the week. The toughest part was leaving!

Everything we hoped for!
The Bali Tree House is an amazing place! Everything we had hoped and more. The manager answered all my questions prior to our trip, arranged transport, and was very helpful. The concierge during our trip was also very helpful, and responded right away. The house itself is beautiful and was perfect for our family group of 6 adults. The shaded pool was perfect and a respite after hiking up and down to the beach and town. Manuel Antonio is very touristy but beautiful and there is plenty to do. The wildlife around the house was magnificent - we saw a toucan, a couple of sloths, heard howler monkeys, and our daily visit from the capuchins was wildly entertaining. I would hightly recommend the house.

Family vacation at Bali Tree House
We had an amazing stay. The customer service is superb, possibly the best I’ve ever experienced. From Hazel who helped with everything leading up to the trip, to Jorge who assisted during our stay, we were treated like family. Two of the nicest and most helpful people I’ve met. The house superseded our expectations as well. We were mostly hoping to see wildlife and were happy to be visited by white-faced capuchins and squirrel monkeys each night. The house had everything we needed for cooking meals, and we enjoyed the pool and hot tub, as well as the outdoor shower. The bedrooms are spacious and you have the lovely, soft background noise of the rainforest. The house was on a steep road leading to a gorgeous beach. We drove our rental car (must have 4-wheel drive) down and stayed the whole day. If walking, the walk back is like a moderate hike. Great location near many good restaurants. Highly recommend!!

Best house ever!
I am going to give my opinion in Spanish and English, because it is worth it, for both languages, starting with Hazel, there was not a single moment when she did not answer my emails, then let's talk about the house, impeccable cleaning, they came to clean the house And the lady even put the clothes on the racks for us, the house just like in the photos, I would say it was even prettier, the monkeys are an extra, the sound of the birds in the morning is something wonderful, we loved it, Jorge It is the complement of that property. Without him nothing would work, whenever I texted him he answered me, he helped us with the excursions, with a flat tire, shopping at the supermarket, the massage, for me it is the best, Alejandro the Chef gives him give your vacation the flavor it needs, I have been renting on VRBO for years, but this has been the best of all, I would return thousands of times!

Amazing stay!

Family Vacation
This house is amazing! It is even nicer and prettier than the pictures. We loved the daily monkey visits, especially all of the baby monkeys! We would always try to be home between 5-6 to see them. The pool was an added bonus. The kids loved spending time there! It was very hot and the air conditioners worked great! You really feel like you are in the middle of the rainforest. Jorge is a fabulous concierge! I can’t say enough about how helpful he was. He did everything from order groceries, to order take out, to set up taxis, to suggest restaurants. He would always respond to me within minutes. Hazel was also amazing before the trip. She set up all of our excursions and transportation from the airport. The excursions were all top notch and made the trip! We didn’t have a car so we walked a lot! You can definitely walk to several restaurants and a small market but it is uphill so if you have any mobility issues you will need a taxi. There are a lot of stairs in the house as well so this might not be the house for you if you have mobility issues. My husband and I were in better shape when we left! We also walked to and from the beach. I don’t suggest walking back from the beach. The bus or taxi would have been a better option. It is a very steep hill on the way back. The beaches are beautiful and the water is warm. Bring water shoes because they tend to be a bit rocky. This place was magical and we hope to return some day!!

A dream!
We are a group of 7 girlfriends, and we spent 4 nights in Manuel Antonio. The house was beautiful and as pictured. We loved seeing the monkeys on our porch and relaxing in the pool. Hazel did a fantastic job setting up our stay, and Jorge was incredible once we got there. He helped arrange grocery and pizza deliveries, called taxis, and overall made our stay so simple. We also booked excursions through Hazel and Jorge which made planning so easy! We would definitely stay here again.

This is an absolutely beautiful home, and we loved our stay here. I must say the highlight was the daily shows the monkeys performed for us — what a treat. Jorge the concierge was wonderful, and very responsive. One thing I would note for prospective guests is the property access stairs are quite steep, and so this location would be a challenge for people with mobility issues.

Great stay in Manuel Antonia area
What a lovely place! We traveled Dec 30th - Jan 7th. We wanted sloths, monkeys and lush green. We got all that and more. Beach was accessible by a very steep road that was well traveled by cars and people. Jorge made sure a taxi was always available to return from the beach. The beach was lovely! We walked it daily and could see Manuel Antonio National Park beach in the distance. Very good restaurants along the beach for drinks and food. We had Hazel pre book our excursions. Transportation was top notch to and from those excursions. Catamaran, Mangrove Kayaking and visit to The Manuel Antonio National Park were memorable. We had the chef come in and cook dinner one night and breakfast a different day. That was a treat and leftovers were plentiful. The sunset at Oceano Restaurant set up by Jorge is a must do. Food was delicious. We spent time in the pool and hot tub each night watching the monkeys on the house. Get up early to see howler monkeys and capuchin monkeys swing in the trees. We could have stayed another week and continued to explore such a beautiful place. We will be back !

Amazing! Don't hesitate to book now!
This place is amazing and the only fault was that we wish we stayed longer!!! The photos are accurate and the property is clean, well appointed, and has everything you need in a luxury VRBO. Note the washer and dryer are separate large units and it was so nice to have DRY, clean clothes! Hazel was very easy and timely to communicate with for all of my questions before our stay and she booked our inbound/outbound transportation as well as our tours and personal chef during our stay. Jorge was our onsite concierge who welcomed us upon our arrival and helped us with our local needs such as grocery, taxi, atm, etc., making our stay easy and comfortable. I was worried about how far we were from the beach but found Playa Playitas to be an easy, relaxing 5-10 min walk for our family although note it is uphill on the return. Once on Playa Playitas you can enjoy your practically private beach or walk 5 minutes along to Playa Espadilla. The waves were perfect for boogieboarding or surfing. When we return to Costa Rica, we will definitely return to Bali House!

True Costa Rican Experience
We were so impressed with our stay at the Bali Tree House! We wanted a "true Costa Rican" experience so we decided to book this Vrbo instead of a resort. Man, are we glad we did! After reading other reviews, we were hoping to see monkeys and sloths from the house. We saw howler, spider and white face monkeys every day while there! The white face monkeys would even jump on the porch with us! We even saw a sloth from the front porch as well that hung around for 2 days. Out of all of our excursions, my 12 year old daughter said her favorite part of the trip was getting to see the monkeys from our porch at the Bali Tree House! I'm not sure if it warms up at other times, but we visited in July and really enjoyed the hot tub. My kids swam in the pool some, but I thought it was too cold. There are lots of restaurants, beaches, and stores within close proximity of the house. The house was stocked with plenty of towels, toilet paper, and soaps which was nice.

Paradise!
Bali Tree House is a beautiful gem nestled in the trees. It is secluded yet close to dining, stores, and beach. Prior to our stay, the concierge, Hazel, made everything easy by quickly answering all of our many questions and booking all of our excursions, transport, and necessary Covid tests. Once we were there, Jorge took excellent care of us, confirming reservations, providing recommendations, and securing taxis. The home itself is very comfortable, clean, and spacious. (Please note: there are several wide steps from the road entrance gate down to the home’s front door so this property may not be suitable for those not good with climbing stairs).

My family (five adults) spent four nights at the Bali Tree House in Quepos, and the photos and descriptions of the property were exactly as promised! The bedrooms on the lower level are all comfortable and roomy, and the master shower is especially wonderful. The great room and kitchen with the wrap-around porch is great for relaxing and down-time between outings in town, at beaches, and the park. We also enjoyed use of the pool one afternoon. The white-faced capuchins were a fascinating presence in the trees and even on the balcony (one late afternoon when it rained, about ten monkeys gathered on the balcony). The location of the house is very convenient for walking to restaurants, bars, and shops in town. We were pleased to find excellent vegan and vegetarian food and drink choices at Varuna, Vista Verde, the Falafel Bar, and el Avian. Thank you to Jorge for making check in and check out so easy, and thank you to Mara for housekeeping! My entire family highly recommends this vacation property!

Fantastic
I have traveled abroad a lot and the house was top notch for a family stay. The pictures are accurate. The concierge service offered by the management was great and I urge anyone going to the villa to depend on them. Hazel made most of our arrangements in advance and Jorge was a very attentive and responsive agent for all our needs while we stayed at the house- taxis, activities, groceries etc. We were lucky to see not only monkeys but a sloth, lizards, iguanas, local raccoons and more. There isn’t a view of the ocean but it’s a beautiful house and pool immersed in the vegetation and allowing much more interaction with wildlife. You will have plenty of views from restaurants and beaches to enjoy. The beach is a 8-10 min walk from the house.

We Loved It
Can’t say enough good things about this vacation property. It took us two years to finally get here after cancelling our trip 2x due to Covid, but we finally made it and I’m so glad we didn’t give up on this trip! The house was exactly as advertised! We sat out on the porch in the mornings and night and enjoyed our daily monkey visits. We also enjoyed the dipping pool and hot tub which was perfect to cool us down after a trip up the hill or an excursion! The house was kept so clean with our every other day visit from the cleaner! Our concierge, Jorge was excellent! He ensured we were taken care of the entire visit. He set up three great excursions for us, got us reservations and helped us with general questions. The beach is about a 15 minute walk down a very steep gravel road. Getting back up is a challenge and unless you are in great physical shape I would recommend taking a car down. The beach was beautiful! We enjoyed the warm water, the huge waves and the views! Everything in a Manuel Antonio is super close but having a car was necessary due to everything being either way up or way down! There are so many restaurants to chose from but our favorite thing we did was have the local chef come in and cook a few meals for us! Way worth every penny! Everything about this vacation spot was great and the only thing we regretted was not staying on longer!!!

The house was just as advertised. It is spacious and well kept, It is perfectly situated between the beach area and the downtown area. The downhill walk to the beach was very easy but the uphill walk was a bit more challenging. The house is situated right in the middle of the forest and wildlife is everywhere. The monkeys were the highlight. When sitting on the balcony were were constantly entertained with groups of monkeys jumping from tree to tree. Our concierge, Jorge, was great! He was very helpful, knowledgeable and always responded right away.

What an amazing experience!!
The property manager Jorge was so communicative & helpful. Him & Hazel helped us plan activities prior to our trip & once we got there, Jorge was so responsive to all our needs. The house itself was INCREDIBLE. Waking up to monkeys on our balcony every morning was such a unique experience, this house was perfect for it. Short walk to nearby restaurants as well as the beach. 10/10 stay, would recommend to anyone coming to Manuel Antonio!

BALI YEAH!
As all things finding where to go in Costa Rica is always an adventure but the property manager was fantastic! This property is just wonderful. It is not overly pretentious but beautiful and comfortable. The hardwood throughput the tree house was gorgeous. The setting was definitely jungle like. And yes, monkeys everywhere! Howler monkeys shrieks will awaken you daily. We found it to be quite enjoyable. We did think we would have a water view but unfortunately that was no the case. The beach was a just down the road but it is a steep gravel road that only a 4wd should traverse. We did walk it and it was not the easiest on the way back up due to the steep grade. The beach was not busy when. We were there, but we were there early in the am. There were surfers and a few joggers and walkers. The view from the shore was very nice but I almost enjoyed the view from the top better due to the amazing panoramic sight you can take in. Food and shops were nearby also. The pool was a nice extra. Thank you for a great stay. We all only wish we had more time at the house to just take it all in from the indoor/outdoor master bathroom shower to the hot tub to the wonderful kitchen. You won't regret this home.

Amazing!!!
I stayed in this treehouse with 3 friends for 3 nights and it was phenomenal! Jorge, the guy who helps manage the home, is awesome. So professional and available to help you plan anything you need at the drop of a hat! We also got the chef services a couple times and it was phenomenal! I was constantly communicating with Hazel when setting up the trip and she is the best! So organized, timely, and patient. The treehouse was beautiful and the we saw monkies everyday! Definatly will be staying here again!!!

Awesome House
The house was great and as advertised. Jorge , our concierge was great, he helped us out daily setting up all our excursions, helping with taxis and food options. The house location is at the top of a steep hill with the ½ mile walk down to a fabulous beach. It was central to everything we needed in the area. The monkeys were SO entertaining, the daily migrations of the Howlers, White Faced and Squirrel Monkeys were amazing. The were all over the trees just feet from us and would jump on the deck and roof too. !We will miss that daily show. Having the maid service was great too. I highly recommend this house and area. Pura Vida!

Pura Vida Bali Tree House
Staying at Bali Tree House was nothing short of amazing. Jorge, Hazel and our cleaning lady were all so helpful and nice. This was a trip our family will never forget. Amazing Home to Experience Manuel Antonio!
We absolutely loved staying at the Bali Tree House! Starting with the check-in process, the service was incredible. Jorge met us and helped us feel right at home, showed the property, acquainted us with our surroundings, and answered all our questions. We were tired from a long drive from Arenal, and he assisted us with getting all the groceries delivered right to our home as well as some amazing dinner from a local restaurant. We relaxed on the deck waiting for the food to arrive when we were visited by a dozen white faced monkeys that put on a show in the trees directly in front of us for about 20 minutes! The kids (and the adults) were enthralled. You can’t get that close and that great of entertainment even at the zoo! We learned that this was a nightly occurrence around 5pm, and every night we would hurry home to make sure we didn’t miss the “monkey parade”. They are funny little animals to watch - just make sure you don’t leave the doors open or any items on the deck - they are very curious, mischievous animals! One evening we had an additional group of smaller tan monkeys entertain us jumping from tree to tree all around and above us for close to an hour. We can’t say enough about how entertaining the monkeys were to watch from the comfort of rocking chairs on our balcony as they interacted with each other within a few feet of us in their natural habitat. About the house - it was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Karla, the housekeeper, does an amazing job keeping the house looking amazing. She is a sweet, kind person who put up with a lot of housekeeping from us and our 6 kids! The house is beautifully decorated, the beds were comfortable, and the “outdoor” shower was a nice touch. We felt safe in the neighborhood and in the house. The kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We highly recommend “Nikos Pizza” - he is a great guy and makes some excellent pizza that you can order in any evening you are tired from exploring Manuel Antonio. We also highly recommend “The Mariposita” for souvenirs. The owner is very sweet, everything is marked with a price, the prices are reasonable, and the selection is great. A few things to know - the property is best accessed (maybe not required) with 4 wheel drive and there are a quite a few steps. These were not problems for us but may be important for some . We highly recommend this property and hope to return some day!

Absolutely fantastic stay in Costa Rica
Vacationed with my family in Costa Rica. The Bali Tree House lived up to my expectations. Jorge, our contact while staying there made this whole experience so much better. He was constantly available, answered every question we had and was a professional in every way. If you are thinking about staying at this property, stop thinking and book it, you will not be disappointed!
