« SUPER private and peaceful! Exactly what we were looking for - to not have neighbors right next door or even see neighbors. It is an easy, no traffic drive to the town of Ramona and some wineries are really close. The few negatives were the shower pressure is really low, the deck gets afternoon sun and there was no umbrella or shade, and the outdoor furniture was not well maintained and had rat poop on it. « Would've given 5 stars except that the location, while breathtakingly beautiful and beholden to a sunrise that will leave you breathless, the location is HOT. Ramona is 20°F hotter than San Diego, despite being only 40 min away. And everything is 40 min away via winding mountain roads. The property is amazingly spacious and met all our needs. The pool was beautiful, and the pool table was fun. Extra fridge in the garage allowed us to get a weeks worth of groceries. Special props to the host...

« Room is a step above most non-chain motel rooms with very sparse amenities, limited parking, ok bedding, and small towels. We only used it for sleeping as we spent more time at our families house. « It was neither quiet nor clean. The shower was filthy—mud ran on the floor when we turned on the water. Floor and air conditioners had not been clean so it was dusty. And it would helpful if some of the basic amenities were present like a hairdryer and a coffee pot. »
