You get a private path right to the vineyard/ restaurant! Everything was just perfect during our stay. And the sunsets are breathtaking. Plus the amazing staff leaves fresh breakfast for you each day! »

« Our ONLY regret was in only booking two nights - we could have stayed a month. Bag End is a wonderful creative haven; a true oasis. A couple blocks walk from an interesting area of shops, cafes, restaurants and galleries, yet at “home” you’re nestled in a garden paradise. And it IS a home - some b&b’s feel like impersonal hotels - here you are surrounded by artwork and flowers and a true sense that it is a well loved space. We would happily return! »

« Cleaning should be more thorough - the shower wasn’t cleaned properly, there were hair everywhere, the floors were not vacuumed/washed and some of the utensils would need replacement! »

« A peaceful and picturesque slice of kiwi paradise with everything you could need. Perfect for a weekend away - even heard kiwi calls at night! Would recommend packing light as there is a easy well maintained bush walk to get to the cabin, but this is clearly mentioned by the owners and is not a deterrent, if anything - its kind of a benefit if you're looking for privacy. Would recommend to others and will hopefully be back! »

« We spent a wonderful weekend at the bach and can highly recommend it! It's a hidden gem amongt native bush with abundant birdlife and a short walk to a beautiful tidal beach. The house was clean, comfortable and excellent value for money. »

« Absolutely stunning spot, with everything we needed and more. Beautiful view, bird life to watch, peaceful, beautifully fitted out. Having the car to tootle around in was a total bonus. Highly recommend! »
