„The resort is surrounded by nature, very quiet and peaceful - perfect if that’s what you’re looking for. It can be a bit inconvenient without a car, but there’s a bus stop right in front of the hotel that runs at specific times and goes to the nearest train station, Shiojiri. The owner was very kind and even offered to pick me up and drop me off at the station, and he also took me to visit the old town, Narai-juku.

„We had a wonderful stay at this ryokan. The room’s design was beautifully curated, with great attention to detail and every comfort we could have wished for. The meals were exceptional — you can truly feel the thoughtful connection to the local land and ingredients in every dish. Kimihiro Kato was incredibly kind and went above and beyond, even driving us to the station each time we needed. A genuine haven of peace. Highly recommended.“

„Very thoughtful and helpful staff, always offering us heat packs/ umbrella when we leave in the morning.
Onsen is small but has both indoor and outdoor areas, good vanity supplies and hair dryer.
Location is excellent if you drive and want to be based near the Hoshino resort area. Plenty of things to explore within 20min drive from hotel.“
