« It is a big hotel with lounge, fireplace and a large reception waiting area. Staff were friendly and onsens good! The buffet breakfast and dinner were great; with local selection as well as western. If you like to drink, there are beers, sake and wine too. »

« Koshinoyado Takashimaya is a very traditional Ryokan, in the best sense! It is located in an ancient building that is very well maintained. The staff was very friendly and caring, service was impeccable. The food was delicious, diner and breakfast alike. We have stayed in ryokans before, in various regions in Japan. Our stay here was one of the most pleasant experiences overall. Very much recommended! »
