Good little hotel that’s within walking distance of everything great in Rehoboth Beach. Room was great, housekeeping was courteous and responsive, coffee and beverages were plentiful! We stayed for a weekend and it was perfect.

Canalside in has charming rooms in a charming location. And yet we were within walking distance of downtown Rehoboth Beach. The staff are welcoming and helpful.

Cute place away from the crowds yet close to restaurants. About 20 minute walk to the beach and 5 minutes to the stores. Very clean and complimentary bikes.

The experience was a very mixed bag. The did some exceptional things and went out of their way. The only complaints I have is the lighting in the room was poor. Those said they were going to do something about it but never did.

The property offered more amenities than advertised there’s a kitchen and TV/lounge area downstairs, which was great for us to eat the breakfast and lunch foods we brought from home. There are also various tables and chairs outside too. The little table on the balcony was perfect for my teleconference because it was out of the way from the main areas. The property and street are very quiet , yet close to Rehoboth Ave. The room was clean and the bed was so nice; we slept very well (a rarity for me when we travel). The walk to the boardwalk is about 3/4 a mile, but an easy walk. The pool is very small, but likely suitable for families with small kids. We did not use it. Even though there were dogs in some rooms, the rooms were quiet and must be well insulated. We plan to stay here again on a future trip to Rehoboth Beach. The owners were very kind, responsive, and attentive.

Overall this was a nice, quiet place. The common kitchen was unique. Room was fine for what we needed. The heat woke us up a couple times- when it came on it made a weird loud pinging/sizzling noise. The mattress wasn’t comfortable for me or my husband. We were on the end- it would have been nice if the outside door keypad noise could have been silenced the way our room ones were. I thought we had a balcony, not a slider with a gate, not sure if the fine print stated that. It wasn’t a huge deal since it was cold, had it been nice, I would have been disappointed. Thank you!

Quaint little inn

We were very happy at the canalside Inn. The room and the entire place was clean and well maintained. Bryan and Kristen and all of the staff were attentive and easily available. Though the pool is small it was a nice break in the day to relax and not be overrun with a lot of people. I would definitely stay there again.

Perfect location

Great spot. Walking distance to all of the downtown amenities and beach, but set back just enough so it seems a bit secluded.

Great stay at cozy inn!

My wife & our dog had a great time at this cute inn near the beach. Great location w/both a fantastic breakfast spot - Egg - and an awesome coffee shop - Rise Up - right around the corner. Nestled right on the canal, which provides a perfect dog-walking path. We’ll definitely stay here again the next time we’re in Rehoboth Beach!

Everything was wonderful, the hosts even arranged for us to stay in a room with a balcony and a beautiful view. All you ever needed was at your fingertips. Everyone was extremely helpful and went out of their way to make us feel at home Thank you and we will be seeing you again!!

Great location and pet friendly

We chose this option since it was pet friendly and close to the beach. The room was nice if a little smaller than it looked in the picture. Our only small complaint was that certain items for our pet were not in our room when we checked in. The listing said we should expect a dog towel, treats, and a dark duvet cover, but these items were not left in our room upon arrival and due to covid restrictions we did not want to inquire about them. Overall a positive experience.

Great place for a short respite with your furry friend

Bryan and Kristen made us feel at home. They were very helpful and accommodating. When I told Bryan, the owner that I was not able to take my dog with me in this trip, he was quick to say that he hopes my dog is okay and didn’t hesitate refunding me for the pet fee. The Canal Inn is located in a quaint corner and is a walking distance to the beach and fine restaurants. Definitely a good place to just recharge from the pandemic fatigue.

Great Weekend Getaway

Excellent location and good value for the quality of the stay. I just wish the check in process had been a bit smoother. The staff was a great help in dealing with the hiccups. Thanks for a great stay!

Nice weekend spot

We went there off-season with our dog and had a fabulous time. The inn is neat and well-organized, set up for families with or without pets, and with a nice coffee place just around the corner.

Enjoyable stay at Canalside Inn

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Canalside Inn. Our room was squeaky clean and provided a bowl for my dog's drinking water. I appreciated how they made us and our dog feel welcome. We look forward to staying at the Inn again next fall.

The owners were very responsive to questions and the room was exactly as advertised. The location was perfect—right around the corner from some great breakfast spots.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Canalside Inn. It was in an wonderful neighborhood and close to breakfast places The owners were very nice and engaged. The massage was excellent. We would be happy to stay again!
