We, the Hirsch family, look forward to your visit. Our holiday flat, which is located in the centre of Schöna, has a size of 45m² and offers space for 2 persons (plus an extra bed). The flat is centrally heated and is equipped with a living room, TV-SAT (digital), a bedroom, a kitchen as well as a shower and toilet. The bathroom was freshly renovated in 2016, the living room in 2017, the kitchen in 2023. A parking space is available for your car. In our village there is a butcher's shop and restaurants for your physical well-being. In addition to hikes to the local mountains Kaiserkrone, Zirkelstein and the nearby Zschirnsteinen, the area of Saxon Switzerland offers a variety of excursions and hiking opportunities. For example, you can visit the Königstein Fortress, the Bastei with the Rathen rock theatre, the castles of Stolpen and Hohnstein, or relax in the Toskana Therme in Bad Schandau with a brine bath or in the sauna world. You also have the opportunity to cycle along the Elbe cycle path. For further leisure activities, there is a large garden with a children's playground, swings, trampoline and communal pool, as well as a lawn for games and sports.

Location description: Schöna lies in the heart of Saxon-Bohemian Switzerland and offers good views with its "local mountains" (Kaiserkrone and Zirkelstein) and the nearby Zschirnsteine. Our tranquil village is also located in a rural idyll, on the route of the famous Malerweg. Our annual Kohlrabifest takes place at the end of September, where the aim is to beat the previous giant of around 24kg and 105 cm in circumference. Food and drink are provided by the restaurants with home-style cooking (Gasthaus Zirkelstein, Waldschänke, Wolfsberg and Gasthaus "Zum Goldenen Anker").
