„We had some amazing views of sunrises in this house and a great/relaxing time in the hot tub that is outside the house. The house is perfectly located as a starting point to visit a lot of places of the golden circle and beyond e.g. just 15min away from the secret lagoon (a must visit!). Everything was very clean and the kitchen was very well equiped. Try to buy groceries either in Selfoss or 7 min away in Reykholt (small grocery store). The neighborhood is very quite. „This house was great for three couples. Three bedrooms. One big full bathroom with another bathroom with a toilet, which was perfect to have. Kitchen was equipped plus the outdoor grill. There were a few spices so when we cooked we didn’t have to purchase. The hot tub is excellent way to end the night. As far as location, we loved the private space being outside of town. „Photos can not capture the beautiful scenery at the villa. You are surrounded by nature and the view of the Northern Lights surrounds the area when they are dancing. Our teens, young adults, middle-aged, and senior family members were all able to enjoy the spacious layout. Travel to local sights is easy and worth it in order to be in the tranquil quiet by the lake. I highly recommend staying here. The owners are wonderful hosts.“
