« From the moment we checked in, Giacinta was a gem to talk to, even with her broken English :). The apartment was very clean and the A/C worked great, specially after a busy day outside. « The apartment is at the second floor of a town house close to the main square. It is nicely equipped and offers everything we needed. At the hot temperatures, climatization was a big relief when returning from our daily trips to Florence, Arezzo etc. which are all nereby. We can also strongly recommend a visit to Fattoria La Vialla in Castiglion Fibocchi. Anastasia was very helpful and also provided detailed information prior to our arrival. « We selected Siena as our starting point for our hike on the via francigenia to Roma. This was a great property for us to acclimate to Italy. We had a bit of a walk to get down into the city but it was great to prep us for our long pilgrimage. We got see a Palio race and it was great time to be in Siena. The accommodations were spectacular. The weather was hot but the ceiling fans on high kept us cool at night and we slept well. Thanks for making our via francigenia starting point so wonderful. »
