Great stay
This home is a great place to stay. It was very clean, comfortable, decorated with lots of nice touches and decor. We had plenty of dishes and cookware for the few meals we cooked and there were plenty of towels both in the kitchen and bathrooms. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Lots of space inside and out!
This home was very comfortable, lots of room for couples to have their own space, and large table to share a meal. The family room was also a cozy space to visit. Nice front porch. We had 2 trailers with UTV’s and lots of parking. This is hard to find in Ouray!

Great place to stay
We took our jeeps to do the trails in the area and found this place that had ample parking for four trucks and trailers as well as the jeeps. Our stay was amazing as the home was very nice and the groundskeeper was very friendly. If we return to the area this will be where we stay again

It’s a nice place to stay in Ouray,Colorado The only concern is some towels are not clean Oh,and the sliding door needs to be fixed

Ouray Heat Wave
Nice property with amenities, green grass, and really good views. We would consider staying there again. Hopefully not during a heat wave as last night we had to sleep downstairs. It's still the best place we have stayed in Ouray. The yard is fenced but only holds large dogs. Small and medium sized dogs can escape going under the deck.

Highly Recommend!
Beautiful home, exceptionally clean! From the moment we opened the door, I was impressed with the condition, comfortable furniture & cleanliness of the home. It smelled good! Well equipped kitchen, gorgeous mountain views, beautiful patio and nice bed linens. Bathrooms were stocked with Aveda products & towels were superior. This is great location between Ridgway and Ouray. We will definitely return. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

The rental unit is very nice and well maintained. It is a great location and very quiet. The kitchen is very well stocked. The bathrooms are also very well stocked. There are outside sitting areas and beautiful views. I would definitely stay here again.

Great house and great location!
Everything was great about this property, lots of space with 3 beds, location right off the hwy and in between Ridgway and Ouray. Only issue was the water heater, we struggled to get hot water multiple times and with a large group of people it was difficult for everyone to shower within a certain time frame before it would shut off again. Otherwise would highly recommend this place!

Fall Family Trip
The home is well equipped and in a peaceful and beautiful location. The outdoor areas are nice for relaxing with family. The bedrooms are spread out enough so that there is privacy and others in the house can't be heard taking. The groundskeeper was friendly when we saw him pull up (as we were sitting outside), but did not intrude at all. Communication with the property manager was excellent. She even communicated with housekeeping so that we could check out an hour later as my husband was working remotely and had a conference call scheduled when we were supposed to check out. The only things that need improvement are cleaning up after the dead gnats ( None were flying around the house while we stayed there) and some of the furniture is not very comfortable, specifically the living room furniture and the bed in the upstairs primary suite.

We would like to apologize for the dead gnats you found - that must have been a bit of a shock and definitely not something you want to find on vacation! We will be reviewing with the cleaners to make sure that does not happen again. We had some issues with gnats that month - they would appear from one day to the next and cause a lot of extra housekeeping work. We apologize we missed some for your stay! Great place to stay
We really enjoyed our stay! It is removed from town so it is really nice to just sit out on the deck and view the mountain valley surrounding the place. The interior is fairly dated by appearance but everything was up to date and easy to use. Also, the master bedroom has a ton of room with a nice deck and a very nice bathroom! We really enjoyed staying there!

Going to be my favorite stay here
I loved the place, spacious rooms. Nice home overall and fenced yard. Ground keeper very helpful and friendly. The owner/host was very friendly, politely receptive and answered any questions. The river is across the street which we love. Place is off the main road but easily accessible to Hwy or country roads for people like us prefer the country roads for more beautiful views. I’m a runner (long distance 5-6 miles each way), loved running to Ridgway one day and Ouray the next. We hope to come back.

Amazing home
We had a wonderful time! The house was beautiful, cozy but also roomy, well-maintained, and had everything we needed. Our 3yo and dogs loved exploring the property. The location was convenient for exploring Ouray, Silverton, and Telluride. We had one little mishap with loss of power due to a tree downing a power line somewhere away, but that got fixed quickly and the managing service was super responsive. We would absolutely stay here again.

A winter wonderland getaway
We had a great holiday weekend stay at this lovely home. It was warm, cozy, and a short distance from town. Also, it was great having a fenced in yard for the fur babies. We will definitely stay again to experience the area in the summer.

Perfect Getaway!
Nice secluded location, just a short drive away from everywhere. The house was clean, and looked exactly like the pictures. Plenty of room, but still cozy. Absolutely beautiful mountain views from all directions. A herd of deer even stopped by for a visit!!

Great time in Ouray
We had a wonderful stay at Idlewild Estates. Quiet location close to Ouray and a quick drive to Ridgeway. We enjoyed celebrating our anniversary and watching our little one learn to crawl for the first time. Would return again!
