False Advertising
The property listing says it has Air Conditioning. It does not. It has 1 small standing fans and 2 small cooling machines in as many bedrooms. There are no ceiling fans and no actual air conditioner. There is no way to cool the main living areas and kitchen other than opening a window, which we were told not to do because a cat with babies would jump into the house. My niece also sat on the couch and a large rusty metal fire poker stabbed her in the side as it was in between the cushions on the couch. The lady who ran the place (Sylvia) did not answer the phone after repeated phone calls trying to address how hot the house was. The temperature inside the house at the end of July was in the 90s. We had young kids and elderly people who cannot stay in a 90 degree house. You cannot stay in this house in the summer! We had to leave and book another place. WARNING: we had one customer service agent from VRBO agree the description of the house was misleading and tried to give us our money back, but the manager couldn’t allow it.
