„I cannot recommend Ginger Banana enough! The hostel is nice and centrally located. The space is calm, clean, and cute.The space was great, but the best part of Ginger Banana was the people! The staff seriously went above and beyond to help me navigate the city/find tours and make me feel welcome. They helped me feel comfortable and taken care of as a solo traveler. If you’re looking to visit Oaxaca City, definitely stay here.“

„Ich habe mich sehr willkommen und wohl gefühlt. Auch das Fahrrad stelle kein Problem da was oft bei kleinen Hotels der Fall ist. Was ich mir persönlich gewünscht hätte wären weiche Handtücher und einen Föhn zum ausleihen an der Rezeption. Vielleicht werden diese Sachen ja noch umgesetzt.“

„What I liked most about this hostal is that it attracts all sorts of friendly people from around thw world and that thye hodt an event pretty much each day, keeping you engaged in the community. „Nice hotel with a super location close to the center and restaurants/cafes, nice staff. The only thing I didn’t like is that it could’ve been cleaner and there was a moldy smell in the room. Also the walls are super thin so you can here everything from the other rooms. Mattress was also too hard for me but the stuff helped me out. “

„The hotel is basically OK, but there are a few things that could be improved. The rooms have very old TVs (no smart TVs). Our room was directly above a bar that played very loud music, which was very unpleasant. The rooms were clean and very large. „El lugar en áreas comunes es super lindo, y a pesar de que la ubicacion es retirada de la playa es muy sencillo llegar (solo que esta un poco oculta , les falta señaletica o anuncios o algun letrero para dar mejor con el espacio.) "Wir bekamen ein Zimmer welches nur Fenster zu einen Flur hatte. Diese ließen sich nicht öffnen und in diesem Zimmer hat es sehr muffig gerochen. Gegen Mehrpreis $360,00 bekamen wir ein Zimmer mit Balkon. Generell ist das Hotel eine schöne Anlage aber auch schon sehr abgewohnt. Es gibt keine USB Ladeeinrichtungen die eigentlich Standard sein sollte. Das Essen ind den beiden Lokalen ist nicht schlecht aber auch nichts besonderes (normaler All in Standard) Die Poolanlage und die Poolbar sind sehr schön. Das Personal ist meistens freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Damen am Empfang der Lokale könnten etwas freundlicher sein."
