My friend and I stayed here this weekend due to attending a festival nearby. The stable rooms are absolutely lovely, so comfortable, beautiful bathroom and lovely bed! We even had horses in stables next to us which was a lovely view to wake up too. The self serve breakfast room was so cute and had everything you could really ask for including fresh fruit, milk, breads and pastries. Will be returning with my partner for sure!
Place ok, room a bit tight, bathroom to small, no shelf for your bits, but new nicely done bathroom. No menus, ideas for evening meals out, as no restaurant on site, which would be helpful. Very comfy bed and pillows, slept well as nice and quiet. Just wish room was changed around for more space .
The property itself is a little off the beaten track and set in some beautiful countryside.
The stable rooms in which I stayed are big, clean well equipped, oder and comfortable.
Although there is no onsite catering for evening meals they have a kitchen for reheating your own stuff (microwave) and a large breakfast room in which you can eat takeaways.
The room itself way lovely. Full length windows at the front, a big comfortable bed and a large, decent TV. WiFi was good too.
All in all I found it ideal for my needs.
I didn't try the continental breakfast which was available for a small up charge, but looking in the breakfast room there looked to be a good choice of muffins, crumpets toast cereal as well as juices rolls cheese and yoghurt. Sure it would be lovely if you choose it.
Recommended.
Very nice to have the opportunity to stay on a farm, which is just a few minutes from a town. It was both quiet and with a nice view as well as convenient.
Nice area to have your breakfast in as well!
