Très bon accueil, proche du Colisée
Points forts: Très bon accueil, B&B situé juste à côté du Colisée (quelques mètres à pied) et entre deux arrets de métro Cavour et Colisée ligne A. Il est possible de faire tout Rome a pied. Beaucoup de restaurants dans la rue. État global de la chambre propre. Le seul inconvénient .. le bruit, les camions poubelles, les bruits de la rue et les voisin de la chambre d'à côté. Chauffage soufflant dans la chambre également bruyant.

Great place to stay in the heart of antic Roma
We spent 4 Very pleasant nights in this hotel. The guys at the réception were kind and Very helpful. The location is great for tourism and for the marathon start/finish access. This is not a typical hotel (with lobby and front door), but rooms in apartments to be rented. Nevertheless, we felt like at home with the keys to access to the building and to the room. The night life on via Cavour can be sometimes noisy, but this is the price to pay to be in the heart of Rome... Bring earplugs if your sleeping is light. This hoyel worth the stay. Visit Al Conosseo gelateria (awesome) and Nera Pelle = Pizza & Mortadella shop for amazing treats!!!!

Séjour parfait !
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour du 4 au 9 août. Nous avons été accueillis par Paul, le co-manager. Très sympathique, toujours souriant, il a su répondre à toutes nos questions et nous a bien présenté Rome à l'aide d'un plan détaillé. Et puis pouvoir passer tous les jours devant le forum romain et le Colisée pour aller et revenir du centre ville, c'est vraiment magique !

Ужасное и неквалифицированный персонал, которые не решает возникшие вопросы. Остановились в отеле на одну ночь, так как друзья уехали днём ранее, а апартаменты было забронированы до 10 ноября. После долгой прогулки по городу в поседений день остались в холодном номере без горячий воды. На ресепшене никого, а на телефоны указанные в номере и на дверях никто не отвечает, один номер принадлежит сотруднику, который работал 4 года тому назад. Единственный доступный номер это тот, который у них на сайте и там мне дали очень странный ответ, что это наверное проблема здания, а не отеля и никого они позвать из сотрудников отеля не могут. Хотя время ещё не слишком позднее и на Hotels.com у них есть поздний заезд, что говорит о том, что сотрудники отеля могут быть на месте или хотя бы на территории. Утром появился сотрудник, который даже ничего не знал о нашей проблеме и сам не понимал, что такое и как решить вопрос. Потом он зашёл в хоз комнату и что-то включил, а потом показывал нам, что все типа работает. Отель просто не включил обогрев воды, хотя в отели мы были единственные гости! Ужасный персонал и отель! Не ведитесь на низкую стоимость!

Ужасно в этой истории вы и ваш друг, которые физически угрожали нашему сотруднику. Спасибо, что мы не позвонили в полицию все, что ты пишешь в комнате работал, не соответствует действительности. Вы пишете эти вещи только потому, что мы не дали вам скидку, и вы шантажировали нас, говоря, что вы поставили плохой отзыв

Keys did not work ever - even after three different sets. Showers way, way, way too small — 2’ x 2’. Staff only there until noon. Beds very, very, very uncomfortable. If you are staying with two people - this is an ok place, beds ok. If you are staying with five - forget it - beds very uncomfortable, keys don’t work, one bathroom with a tiny, tiny shower —- good luck!!! Great location. Very poor for families over two people.

Værelset var småt men flot. Vinduer ud til gaden - vi kunne godt lide det men måske andre synes det er for lyst og befærdet. Der var varmt og lidt indelukket om natten og aircondition var ikke ret meget bevendt. Det var ikke super god betjening. Man skal aftale med receptionen hvornår man tjekker ind - for det er i virkeligheden mere et "guesthouse" end et hotel - der er ikke fast receptionist. Det tog lang tid at få nøgler der virkede.

This place is not a hotel. It is more like a converted townhouse/apartment. That being said, we loved it. Had 2 twin beds and a good sized bed. Easily and comfortably fit 2 adults and 2 kids. The bathroom shower is very small so if you are tall it will be a problem. Very close to the colosseum. 5 restaurants, 3 gelato places within 2 minutes walk. Would come back

Ask for extra toilet paper if traveling with girls. Sraff was very helpful and accommodating. Can't beat the location. Best real American coffee at the cafe across the street.

Quarto simples mas muito confortável. Com uma localização excelente, mesmo ao lado do Coliseu e perto de duas estações de metro. Espaço agradável com um staff bastante amável e simpático. Nada de negativo a apontar.

צ'ק אין איטו בטירוף
כשניגשנו למקום, ישנה דלת כניסה גדולה שלא בניין, אי אפשר לפתוח אותה ללא מפתח, ולא ענו לנו עם הפעמון. במזל השגנו שיחות והתקשרנו למס שהיה מצויים בהזמנה,ענה לי הבחור של הצ'ק אין והסביר לי שעוד 15 דקות הוא מגיע. אחרי 39 דקות שאנחנו ממתינים לו, התקשרנו שוב והבטיח ש5 דקות הוא מגיע.. בסופו של דבר הגיע באיחור של שעה, מצטער ומסביר לנו שהוא עובד בעוד 3 מלונות והוא עושה צ'ק אין בכולם.. זה לקח לנו זמן רב מהטיול ודיי ביאס אותנו. אין ארוחת בוקר, ישנם עוד מס חדרים ששומעים הכל מהכל, וגם הרעש מבחוץ דיי מפריע. הווילונות לא ניתנים לסגירה ככה שיש לך בבוקר אור שמציק לך. דיי לא הייתי חוזר למקום הזה.

Fick sen information om att vi skulle bli flyttade till ett annat Chroma hotell, alldeles i närheten. Det enda problemet var att denna lgh (familjerum) var mindre än den ursprungligt avtalade. Detta fick vi sedermera kompensation för. Lägenheten var annars enligt förväntningar, ren och funktionell. Området mycket bra, nära till restauranger, Coloseum samt tågstation. Bra överlag, men att vi fick byta hotell och till ett mindre rum drar ned helhetsbetyg

Fantastic location. Literally a few streets away from the coliseum. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room clean and tidy. We saw staff everyday who made sure we were ok. However, the one thing that let down our stay was the shower. When you have been out all day in the baking sun you want to come back to your room and have a nice shower.. the 3 nights we stayed this was not the case. The shower ran red hot, burning in fact for a few mins then freezing cold for several. It was impossible to shower properly. I told hotel staff who said it would be fixed, it was the same the second night. I mentioned it again and on the last night it was dangerously hot, no cold at all. We felt this was very dangerous if our son had showered first. Alas, for this reason I would never stay there again or recommend this hotel.

La ubicación es perfecta a cuadra y media del Coliseo, la vía sobre la que está ubicado el hotel es muy movida y con muchas opciones de restaurantes Aunque más que un hotel es un guest House y por fuera aparenta ser una casa muy vieja por dentro está remodelado En general es una buena opción

Downgraded our room at last minute
The location and service was very good. The young man who was servicing the rooms was very attentive. Our main complaint/disappointment was that we had booked a suite well in advance, and we received an email when we were in Florence (the day before travelling to Rome), saying the suite was double booked and that we would get a regular room instead. There was no discount, but they included breakfast vouchers (which we didn't use), and we didn't have to pay the tourist tax. We specifically searched a long time for a suite in a good location, and this last minute change left us no time to cancel and find another place. Very disappointed in that regard.

Poor room lighting; front desk staffed only 3 hours per day in morning and by man from India who is not fluent in English; no manager; this "hotel" only has 3 guest rooms. No safe in room. Location and bed are good.

The apartment location was absolutely great. It was a short walk from the coliseum. The local train station was nearby. The restaurants were in close proximity. I have absolutely no issues with the apt.

Family flat in the middle of ancient Rome
Very welcoming personnel and a flat situated in the middle of antic Rome with Colosseum and Forum Romanum just 200 meters away. The flat had enough space for our family of five (including two teenagers) and had everything we needed for our stay. Loads of ok bars and restaurants in the area both for breakfast and other meals.

La calle es muy ruidosa y a pesar de las ventanas nuevas de doble acristalamiento se oye bastante el tráfico a primara hora de la mañana. Por lo demás está muy bien, centrico para visitar muchas cosas, con nevera y la cama es bastante comoda.

Nuestra experiencia fue muy escelente. El hotel está a poco más de dos minutos del coliseo y foro romano. Total libertad para entrar y salir del hotel a cualquier hora. La habitación amplia, limpia y con el aseo muy bien dispuesto. Repetiremos hotel

Good, basic. Fine for a night's stay; I wouldn't book this for a holiday. If you're aware this is not a hotel, and are looking for a well-priced central location then you will be well-served. Shower could with repair.
hello thanks for the review, it is clearly stated on the website where you booked, on our website and at each portal booking that the chroma octho is not a hotel but a modern and elegant guest house as there are many in Rome and at the center of Rome.

Convenient, clean, friendly, cheap!
Super close to the colloseum and roman forum bars restaurants and train stations. I love this place! The attendant was friendly and let me check in early! I highly recommend this place! ! 5 starts ps they even gave me fresh fruit and a bottle of champagne as a gift!

Great location! The place, not so good!
Technically not a hotel. There are totally 2-3 rooms in an apartment unit. I'd have been fine with it if I knew this earlier. Hotels.com needs to make this clear and categorize them differently. My check out was at 8 am (I told them the time in advance) and no one showed up. So I couldn't pay the city tax, and had to leave. Then I realize that I left some stuff at the closet... called several times, no answer. Replied to the same email address that they asked me for my arrival time, the email was denied... I couldn't get them and am now back home in the states!

Close to Forum and Comfortable
Sweet old hotel in an apartment building. Air conditioner is not strong but will work if you leave it on for a few hours before bed. The front desk guy was nice, but not there most of the time. He did his best to make sure to meet us when we came in and to get everything ready for us. The hotel is within walking distance of The Forum and the Colosseum. Beautiful! There are good restaurants and little grocery stores on the street. Not luxurious but plenty good for sleeping at night. If you nap in the daytime, bring earplugs because the street is loud during the day.

Nytt og fint med bra beliggenhet
Flott leilighet med god plass til en familie på 4. Ligger sentralt tett på Coloseum og fint utgangspunkt for sightseeing. Det fremstår som ny og flott med aircondition på begge soverom. Det er ikke et hotell men en leiegård hvor de har noen leiligheter plassert. Kan trygt anbefales hvis du ønsker et fint sted som ikke er hotell men hvor du kan lage litt mat selv også.

Hade först ett rum som var utmärkt men var tvugna att byta dag två och då fick vi vänta på att det nya rummet blev städat i ca 1 timme, kändes så där. Var sällan bemannat. Trevliga men kunde nästan ingen engelska och sista dagen hade vi begärt transer till flygplatsen (nattetid) och lämnat info om var när och hur. Hamnade på fel flygplats!

Good location, not 24 hour reception
We liked the hotel until it got to the last day of our holiday. We told a member of staff that we would check out the following day at 10am and they advised that that would be fine. On this day they tried to tell us that we had not paid which was not the case and we had to find an Internet cafe to prove this. Then on the check out day, no member of staff were to be seen all day which meant we could not leave our luggage anywhere even though previously advised we could so we had to drag this around all day. Generally the hotel was lovely with a good location but the above let us down a bit.

Thanks for your review, it seems strange that we asked you to find an internet point to prove payment because the structure is the wi fi. and in fact the payment had not done it. A luggage storage service is present and we always give the courtesy to return keys thank you

Ottima posizione centrale, tutto raggiungibile a piedi, la metto a 350 mt il Colosseo dietro L angolo....fantastico. Il quartiere è ottimo xró L unica pecca è che passano di continuo le ambulanze e le forze dell ordine con sirene spietate a tutte le ore!!!!di notte è un problema! comunque appena arrivate abbiamo avuto problemi con la prenotazione ma non c colpa di Expedia ma del proprietario del hotel che ci aveva messo in overbooking è così facendo ci aveva slittato a un altro b&b sempre di sua proprietà a 1.5 km da lì. In ogni ogni caso ci siamo impuntate anche xke avevamo pagato in anticipo appositamente X non avere problemi e infatti ha spostato qualcun altro al posto nostro. Comunque cordialissimo il personale
