„Ich habe diese Unterkunft aufgrund der attraktiven Fotos, guten Bewertungen und Auszeichnungen gebucht. Die Realität weicht leider deutlich ab. Als Deutsche würde ich sagen „ein solider 3 Sterne Standard“. Das Gebäude ist leider sehr heruntergekommen und die Fassade sieht mehr nach sozialem Wohnungsbau oder Knast aus. Unser Zimmer (wir hatten die höchste Kategorie gebucht) war innen schön und sauber, die Aussicht in die Natur war allerdings durch das große Festzelt beeinträchtigt und draußen ...

„An excellent hideaway place as advertised, also has a cottage for hire or glamping with a local well stocked shop. Ideal location for all the beaches and attractions. The morning breakfast was superb, a mix of cereals, fruit, continental style, as well as the full welsh cooked. The room was everyone you could as for, cosy, relaxing with a lovely en-suite. I would highly recommend this hotel, though I do want to revisit, so ignore this report. Seriously a wonderful stay, and will be back. “

„We stayed for four nights. The very nice lady that owns the cottage, Nesta, had made cake for out arrival. Everything was spotlessly clean and comfortable. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The upstairs bathroom has a bath, downstairs a shower. Kitchen was very well equipped with oven, hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, toaster and there was a utility room with a freezer and washing machine. „Properly was nice and central to the town. Activities in walking and driving distance. Only downside is they dont want dogs upstairs but do not provide a gate on the stairs. Having to make a makeshift block not easy.“

„Our stay at Y Cartws was lovely and relaxing, very cosy cottage. Was amazing to walk the ground and interact with the goats and horses. The nearby river was very relaxing to listen to, especially in the hot tub at night. Hot tub is at a set temperature which cannot be adjusted. Amenities were great, kitchen is well stocked with utensils and had delicious home made brownies waiting for us. Property was mostly clean but there was some negatives, bathroom was either mouldy or mould stained. ...

„We had a lovely stay at Kingfisher cottage. The grounds of Maesgwynne Mansions (on which this small courtyard of cottages is situated) are lovely; this time of year flowering rhododendrons are a highlight, and a walk around took us past the fishing lake and neighbouring fields with various farm animals. There are fabulous views, and the outdoor swimming pool had a cover enabling us to use it even in early May. very peaceful & highly recommended.“
