Hôtel bien situé en plein centre avec literie confortable. Je rajouterais 1 coussin supplémentaire pour avoir le choix d'être plus rehaussé. Salle de douche avait divers petits problèmes: la chasse de toilette avait un problème avec les boutons poussoires, du coup ce n'était pas commode pour son utilisation; les essuies de douche sont assez petits (pas possible de s'y emmitouffler, dommage); pas de bec au sèche-cheveux. Personnel gentil et serviable. Le mini supermarket self-service au 2e étage est super pratique. Machine à café et bouilloire dans la chambre avec café et thé. Télévision avec suffisamment de chaînes. Propreté de l'hôtel. Bagagerie appréciée.

The hotel is very well located in the heart of the city of Rotterdam. Easy walk to the shops, restaurants and public transport. Interior parking was a plus for us since we travel by car. The only downside is that we got to the hotel at 1:00 pm and were denied access to our room immediately and had to wait until 3:00 pm to et our key.

Also is the breakfast here served in the morning. Luckily are we located in the city center of Rotterdam so there are enough options for restaurants nearby! Great hotel right in the center. Convenient to any city visit. Friendly staff. Parking Q Park in front of the hotel. Decoration of rooms is modern and nice. Soundproof windows.

If you want to have a stunning view over the city Rotterdam, I would recommend to book a Superior Double, Superior Double Plus or a Junior Suite. These rooms have guaranteed city view. We offer breakfast in the hotel, but is not a buffet. We are located in the city centre of Rotterdam. There are a lot of options, maybe for your next stay in The James Hotel. First of all it is very good to hear that you were fond of our central location in the city centre of Rotterdam! Because we are so centrally located, almost every hot spot is within a walking distance. It very unfortunate to read that you had a few cons during your stay. We apologize for the empty soap dispenser in the bathroom. Please know that you may always call the reception for this! We will bring a new one to your room. Unfortunately we have no space at the hotel for bike storage. We only have our own rental bikes around the corner of the building. Our lounge on the second floor is not always full with guests. This is mostly because they rather explore the city than stay in the hotel. We have no hand in this. Early in November we build up our christmas tree. This is the only moment that we put on one or two christmas songs, to get into the spirit! Please know that this is not the entire day. We hope to welcome you again in the future! Warm greetings,

Hôtel très confortable et bien placé
Ce n'est pas la première fois que je séjourne à l'hôtel Thé James, et c'est toujours un plaisir ! Entre l'accueil très agréable, le surclassement pour une chambre plus spacieuse, la décoration moderne et raffinée, tout est réuni pour un moment agréable, que ce soit pour le business ou en couple. L'hôtel est aussi idéalement placé et permet d'accéder rapidement aux endroits phares de Rotterdam. Idéal pour visiter !

Emplacement idéal pour ce bel hôtel
Très bel hôtel idéalement situé. Accueil peu agréable. Nous avions choisi une chambre confort plus : certes elle est spacieuse, mais dommage que les toilettes ne soient pas séparées de la salle de bains qui est assez petite. Prochaine fois, nous choisirons une chambre standard. Excellente literie. Nous n’avons pas pu avoir une place au parking de l’hôtel (20 €) et avons dû aller au parking juste en face (30 €). Dommage.

We will try our best to make your stay better! When it concerns our parking, we have an elevator system that only has about 20 spots. If it is full, we always direct our guests to the nearest parking garages. When you decide to make a new reservation with us, feel free to call and claim one of the spots beforehand.
