« The bed was clean and bug free. The staff was friendly and helpful. But the room was disappointing. We got the same room for both stays. The bathroom was dirty with hair on the walls. The flooring was coming apart. It was really humid and muggy in the room. The gap between the bed and the wall was really narrow and hard to walk through to get into bed. »

« This is a unique property. The house is beautiful, but it was a little difficult to tell what exactly we were getting from the listing. We wound up with a room with an en-suite bathroom, which I would definitely recommend, otherwise you may be sharing a bathroom with complete strangers. We stayed here as part of RAGBRAI, so it was completely full and folks were definitely having to share a bathroom and coordinate showers. Not a huge deal, but we were happy to have our room with the bathroom. All...

« The room was clean. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were flat as pancakes and lumpy. When I asked for extra pillows, she said she didn’t have any extra pillows. No ice, we were told to go get it at the truck stop nearby. Air conditioner and mini fridge were very noisy. The shower was very good. And the location is convenient for people traveling through and need easy off and on I-80. The website said bar and restaurant but they are not on the premises. »

« The property is a typical 1950's style hotel that has been remodeled. The beds were clean and comfortable. It comes with a fridge/freezer and microwave. The only amenities are very cheap bar soap and shampoo. No hair dryer, conditioner or body wash. Breakfast is not included. I felt it was very expensive for what you got »
