„Not enough wine glasses for 8 pax, we bought 4 and left in cupboard to share. Coffee machine does not have the correct basket in coffee holder to brew the coffee. coffee grinds were very hard to get out to make next one which made a hell of a mess. We wasted a lot of the coffee. If you put the correct basket in it will make a nice coffee.“

„What a lovely little bach! All the amenities we needed. It’s pet friendly, so my dog and I had a thoroughly enjoyable week at McLeod Bay - both enjoying our walks and getting more familiar with the area. Robyn our host was so helpful and quick to get back to me. Would definitely go back.“

„Die Unterkunft ist an und für sich gut. In unmittelbarer Nähe befinden sich Supermärkte, Tankstellen und Gaststätten. Was schlecht war: die Kommunikation. Obwohl ich angegeben habe, wann ich vor Ort sein werde war niemand da. Der Schlüssel wurde in einer Lockbox hinterlegt, allerdings hatte ich dafür keinen Code erhalten. Deshalb musste ich telefonisch nachfragen und die Kommunikation war nicht einfach. Bis auf den umständlichen Check-In insgesamt eine gute Übernachtung.“

„We had a great Stay, Calm batch with a Phantastic view, the way to Whangarei was longer than anounced, but the short way to the beautiful Ocean Beach made it up. “

„This place is great! But Bookabatch has absolutely terrible customer service! Book this property directly with Bachcare, they are still based in NZ and don't have customer service call centres based overseas. We tried to change our booking and it was virtually impossible as their app doesn't work! They don't reply to their emails and their call centre said they would call back, they never did. Luckily I was able to go through Bachcare and they sorted it eventually. “

„The house is spacious, the carpet is lovely and soft, very well equipped kitchen, enough comfy seats for us and nice big garage with a few fun extras thrown in such as bikes and boogie boards. Could have done with two more fans so every room has one on these humid summer nights. Would be helpful to specify the cot is a portacot, not a full, solid cot. Also we could have done with a harness on the highchair. It was great to have shade on the outside dining table but needed shade for the outside ...
