« Great place, close to town »

« Due to where this house sits, you have to go up a pretty good incline with loose gravel/rock. You could make it with a 2-wheel drive vehicle from one side, but 4-wheel drive is recommended. Once you get up there, you won't want to leave though...both for the view and then inconvenience of coming back down the hill...so get everything you need first so you don't have to leave again! It was a good stay even with the high winds during our visit. We would definitely go back. »

« Yes the reviews about the smell of smoke is true, nothing that cannot be tolerated. Yes, once you reach the dirt road (gravel driveway) it is up. Would've liked checking out at 11am. However, I really enjoyed the stay; the kitchen had the necessary items for cooking. »

« This is an absolutely beautiful cabin situated perfectly in the foothills of Ruidoso. The hot tub is clean and functional, but the better part? You can watch the sunrise and sunset while you relax in the warm water. Every tool needed (and more) to utilize the ALFA pizza oven is provided - and we made the most incredible Margherita pizzas with it! « Loved this little cabin for my wife and I, our 2 boys and our little dog. We were told from the owner it was newly renovated and you can definitely tell from the work that they put in because it looks great. The ceiling lights are bluetooth which was kinda cool and the modern appliances were a definite plus. We were happy with the internet and TV as it got quite cold our first night, the electric fire place put off a good amount of heat so we stayed in. The location was the best part, quiet part...

« The house was very clean & layout was excellent. The mattress on the king bed in the master bedroom was the most comfortable we have ever slept on! The hot tub was fabulous! The neighborhood is very quiet. The front & back decks were great to sit on in the morning & evening. We had plenty of wildlife visit. We saw elk, mule deer, birds, ravens, turkeys & the wild horses.
