„Ein typisches Motel: große Zimmer, es gab fünf Schlafmöglichkeiten (zwei Doppelbetten in zwei Zimmern und eine Schlafcouch im sehr großen Wohnzimmer, dazu eine gut eingerichtete Küche.. Das Motel ist in der Straße von der Autofähre nach Russell, etwa 500 Meter vom Zentrum entfernt. Den Swimming Pool habe ich nicht benutzt (Anfang September). Die Besitzerin ist sehr nett. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Es war sehr kalt. Die kleine mobile Heizung hat nicht warm gemacht“

„We like the views from our room. I like the accommodation having shower robe and they have it. Excellent! Customer service was excellent. We like healthy breakfast and the dining overlooking the sea. Convenience of walking to town was great. Parking not so easy as it was elevated but not an issue.“

„The Matauwhi Bay Manor was the most magnificent vacation holiday place we have ever stayed in.The ground was stunning with gardens, trees, and “bush” surrounding this large Manor House. The views in three directions where of the beautiful Matauwhi Bay with picturesque boats anchored all the way around. The interior of the manor felt like we were staying in Downton Abbey. "Es hat mir gut gefallen. Check in ging super schnell und ich habe ein Upgrade bekommen. Man kann zu Fuß in den Ort. Personal sehr nett. Leider keine Aussicht und das Frühstück ist sehr dürftig. Microwelle wäre schön. "
